Nick had a couple of nice buckets. If he gets going, oh lordy.
Manu and Finley were a combined 10-12 from three point land. Nice!

Tell NVE that. That 8 second call was on his crappy ball movement, getting pinned in the backcourt.
NVE did put a crimp in things for a while there. The ball movement on the whole was outstanding...particularly after the drive and kicks. Spacing was terrific tonight and wow, the Spurs made that spacing count with pinpoint accuracy!!!
Spurs, hot as always after the All-Star game.
Scary!
bull .. he wasn't the only one involved.
That 8 seconds ( I ran it back to see) was really more like 7 seconds. The whistle appeared to be slightly early by Ronnie G.
a la Cuba Gooding of Jerry Maguire?![]()
When he got rid of the ball , holding it foe nearly 7 seconds, there was no time left to get it over. That turnover was a boneheaded play for a vet PG.
About the 8 second call, I clocked it at just over 6 seconds, no doubt the clock started early on that one.
I had flashbacks to the 2004 Lakers series when Bowen was getting owned by the Lakers' picks. That one high pick-and-roll play where Kobe flares out is a play that Bowen always defends horribly.
wasn't barry holding it?>
Our 2 SGs got 10 - 12 3Gs! unbeatable.
Manu put us up in the 3rd, and Michael kept us up from then on.
amazing. I regret I didn't record it.
He Passed it to Barry who was covered and had no time to pass it over the midcourt line. Barry, Manu and Parker did an excellent job bringing it up against pressure. Finley was shaky and turned it over once. I think Beno's made better decisions bringing the ball up than NVE and I don't want to see him going against Hunter.
So Barry screwed it up then. You ever hear of the game hot potato?
Beno let Bobby Jackson turn him into a shooting guard. Until Beno can go more than a couple games without that happening, I won't be confident with him come playoff time.
Kobe was incredible. But I think I was more impressed with how well the Spurs shot the ball at Staples.
TP and Finley were clutch. Especially, TP.
NVE held the ball too log. It was his turnover.
Great how after TP got hammered he took it to the Kobes. Kids a warrior.
The Lakers did a nice job of pressuring the Spurs so props to them, plus Kobe was crazy good. They were collapsing the lane and the Spurs seemingly knocked down 80% from beyond 15 feet.
Yeah I was impressed with that. Parker drove it right back in the next time he got the ball![]()
hot potato, hot potato, hot potato... get rid of it Barry......
Barry had it the last 2.4 seconds.
Smush Parker is re ed. On the postgame show, the interviewer asked him about the Spurs hot shooters and how two different guys shot 5-6 from three, and Parker replied, "Yeah, Finley and.... Rick Barry?"
Rick, Brent, Jon, Drew and Scooter all scored the same amount of points tonight.
wtf is smush even getting interviewed in the first place for? the guy didnt even have a good game
