This small ball isn't going to work with Parker playing like
let's say that you all win this game by 25 or more (as it certainly looks like). How do you think that the Spurs will respond in game 3? It may be a close game, but chances are good that the Spurs will take game 3. If that happens, do you want them to call you out and say that you were arrogant?
A win by 25 points is just one win. A win by 2 points is one win also.
This will tie the series.
Remember, Tim Duncan has won 3 championship ring and was the Finals MVP all 3 times. The core of our team has won 2 of the last 3 championships. In other words, this is the same lineup. Therefore, it is highly relevant. Our postseason success is better than yours. Tread carefully here because this is simply one game and the Mavs still have an empty trophy room. Maybe you count me as among those who are arrogant, but those are still the facts. 1-1 series, Spurs best road team in the NBA this year. I have respect for this team. I know that if we don't play very well, the Mavs will win the series.
This series is simply even and you all have not done anything yet.
The later the series goes, the better Parker will feel. If Tony was playing better, this game would be much closer and a good 3rd quarter could pull it out.
By game 5 or game 6, Tony should be playing much better.

Spurs need to wake up. I see five stiffs out there with Duncan on the bench---5 Rashos. The little ball hog has limited court vision, Ginobili has Parkinson's disease in his dribling hand, Horry does not realize the game has started-----too frustrating right now. I think Pop, who has been badly outcoached so far tonite, should just order the Spurs to drive toward the basket and get some mavs to foul out. Parker needs to find Finley and Barry for 3 point shots. and we all need to pray like for a miracle in the second half.
No one respect the champ when he acts like a broad!
Who's winning from the Spurs and Mavs?
yes but if you consider what manu has done the last couple of year, you'd think he'd play a lot better. His energy boosts the team. Where are the steals, 3 pts, intensity that has been evident for years. Many considered him to be the finals MVP over TD. I just hope he can get it going. yes the whole team has sucked too.
If I remember correctly, only a few months ago, Danny Fortson publicly called Stu Jackson a gangster. As much as I don't like him (as he's a lot dirtier than what his teammate Ray Allen claims Bruce Bowen to be), he's right, for once. Stu Jackson IS a gangster.
Expect a few people on the Spurs roster, up to and including Pop, to get slapped with $15,000 fines for publicly criticizing the refs tomorrow.
You Dallas fans, I think it's pretty funny with all your trash talk. I don't know what makes you guys think you'll win the series.![]()
yay go Spurs go yay!!!!!
yay Spurs!!!
oh .......................damn manu
id like to see him in too
I want to see any mother er in here try to play a good basketball game when your opponent is allowed to hammer you whenever they want and if you so much as lay a damn finger on them you get called for it.
AND Diop - I hope your ing neck snaps like a breadstick.
If Manu is that reckless , then em.
Maybe that will wake him up.
They are.
Spurs need to turn to manu more... thats it i posted in a thread that the mavs want the ball out of manu's hand early... because if he doesn't get involved early the TEAM tend to forget about him
You sound like a Mavs fan after game one!
remember that broad slapped your team.
Not Pop's style. If it is not your fault for playing bad and losing, then you have no control over the outcome of the game which logically means you might as well not try as hard as you can.
The refs just called a flagrant on Diop, then sucker ref David Jones met up with the other stripes and took the flagrant away. I give up.
start to play spur basketball
It was just a love tap...
And it was the right call.
I hope Diop comes back in, so they have an excuse to play that Ray Charles song on his next foul.
Funny...Pop complains about bull calls during the game, though. I wonder how many technicals he got in the Regular Season, alone, for that (I know he got T'ed up twice in a row in one game).
