Heard audio of Mark Cuban on Ticket 760 and he says something needs to be done to Finley as well, because he started it and powerdrove Terry 1st.
Cuban also said just because Terry's hand was closed, doesn't mean it was a punch.

Ever since Cuban took over ownership of the Mavs he's been pushing for the league to improve the quality of the officiating and enforcement of the rules...publicly. So shut the up and deal with it. You can't punch a player in the junk and get away with it, just like you can't clothesline a guy and expect to, even in the postseason.
At the end of the day this episode begins and ends with Jason Terry.

I just seen the video. How can the NBA, with a straight face, suspend someone for that!? It wasn't like Jason Terry wound up and gave Finley a violent punch. First Giniboli falls on top of him and then Finley falls on his head. So what is he suppose to do? From what I saw, Terry had very little room to do any damage. Was that even a legitimate punch? If you call what he did "a punch" then THAT is what I call laughable!

I understand that last night's game was very heated and emotions were running high - however, Terry has only himself to blame for the suspension.
Michael Finley did not even talk about the incident after the game - Coach Pop said he wasn't even aware of it happening. But the video guys brought it to their attention and the tape was sent to the league for review.
Mavs fans have a right to be pissed, but don't be pissed at David Stern - be pissed at Jason Terry for pulling such a boneheaded stunt at such a crucial point in the playoffs.
Speaking of bonehead - wanna guess that Jason Terry will be up for the bonehead of the week on Sports Sunday?
