Here's a pic of our bud lighter on our 10,000 gallon pool. It has been frozen over since last Friday morning, when the low temp dropped to around 20 degrees. Keep in mind, this is Sacramento!
Our sleet has changed back into rain, which is leaving water everywhere and is probably going to freeze over pretty bad.

its been cold as in this area the last few days what the ? and my sister calls me a week ago and tells me its like 70 degrees in NY.... what is the world coming to....
It was snowing pretty good for awhile but it slowed down though.
I think this main column of precipitation is moving south along the front endge of the deeper cold air. I think thats why its raining/sleeting harder on it because the shallower air leads to easier and better overunning and lift. Because the deeper air gets less overrunning, you don't see as much precip over it (although it doesn't take much precipitation to give you inches of snow).
The radar loop I just looked at covers 3 hours and its easing south. In another 3 hours at the present rate the layer will push past San Antonio starting from the NW. S y and Kori will probably see anything before I do.
Considering that using the universal remote alone is a challenge for me, I officially bequeath the TV unto Joe should anything happen to Manny.

Nice. I knew it was snowing in Austin, Boerne and Del Rio but if its moving down to San Marcos then it is moving south. Looking good for San Antonio.
