Manu's also an atheist I think. Robinson and Avery seemed to be a part of that overly religious old guard, like Mark Jackson. Prayer circles and .
Yup I heard Manu admit it several years ago. I suspect that's part of the reason why Manu and Tim were close since they shared similar beliefs.

Right on Brett! Need to make a statue for the man!
Two more wins and he better at least get a standing ovation next time the Sixers come to San Antonio next season.

Glad the national media is sort of calling out Kawhi. Said it since like Jan/Feb of 2018 that Kawhi Leonard was faking the injury. He didn't want to play for the Spurs anymore. He tried to throw the Spurs medical staff under the bus, but all along it was him not wanting to play in San Antonio anymore.

Everyone's talking about how the Spurs got screwed in this deal but Toronto may have given up everything for a 2nd round exit and no future. But let's not get ahead of ourselves.

    Go Brett!!!

Kawhi is shooting 61% from the field and is playing 38 minutes a night this series. Rest of the Raps are shooting 37%.

Leave it to the fat Christian hamster Mark Jackson to call out the wrong person. I guess fat point guards have to look out for one another. He's just deflecting from Draymond calling him out for almost ending his career because he forced Dray to be a Small Forward lmfao.

Talking about Draymond.... He said there's 82 game players (DeFrozan) and 16 game players (Kawhi) tbh

I did say early on that I believed the Raptors were a second round exit. I don't think they really match up well with any of the other top teams in the East. Boston and Milwaukee can keep Kawhi pretty much in check while Philly is just really loaded with talent. All this hype for Toronto this year and they are going to go out in the same round as last year.

The (few) Kawhi stans will cry about his supporting cast, bring up that he's scoring 30 points a game and what more could he do. But I argue that he has ruined Toronto's le quest with his load management. Kyle Lowry was legit injured this year and since Kawhi refuse to play games, they never learned how to play together. Toronto had to learn how to play 2 different styles all year long with team ball and ball movement in the games without Kawhi to just standing around and watching Kawhi go iso and never really get a rhythm. It took Boston the entire year how to play with Kyrie and his ball dominant self, it was selfish and foolish of Kawhi to believe that it would work for the benefit of Toronto for him to sit out.

    Chimi ¨Hendrix¨ Butla 22 points 9 reb 9 assists 3 steals +28

I believe we would've taken the Raptors out in 6. Getting the ultimate revenge on that would've been enough of an incentive for us not to have choked any game in that series, tbh.

So far basketball is a team game, your Nephew lost because he cant be a team player.
Better team won and better player went to the short bus.
Also you make it sound like 33 points its an outstanding accomplishment, Embiid did the same.

Man he sure is showing up big time in the playoffs. Makes it extra sweet that his new team is letting him down so much.

And I worry about his degenerative condition tbh, he's playing 36 mpg with a high usage rate and not resting any games. He could be doing long term permanent damage to his knees or quads or tendons whatever it was.

Don't be naive. His season inToronto, when it ends, really just marks the culmination of his final (contract) year with the Spurs. And he screwed over this franchise and what he did likely would have kneecapped most any other team in the League. As it is, we've had two subpar years (by Spurs standards, of course) and are poised for a nice rebound next year. Meanwhile as Bill mentioned above, seeing how it plays out in Toronto is the final act of the trade. It puts a stamp on the trade as either successful or not. If at the end of the day Toronto has a worse regular season and an equal exit in the playoffs, all while giving us a first rounder and our starting center and second best player, and they are left with nothing, that is certainly going to registerwith fans here. Don't be such a playerfan and pull your head out of your ass.

After he leaves Toronto and goes home, there will likely be one more year of passing interest in his fate, but then should start fading from there on for most of this fanbase. It won't for me though. That mother er put the equivalent of a smear campaign and hit job on my team. I ain't ever gonna forget that.

Who said anything about basing our success on anything Kawhi does or doesn't do?

    It's Kawhi Derangement Syndrome.

But it's basically because the Spurs have become so lackluster and mediocre, with no chance at the le. That's an unpleasant situation.

With nothing left to cheer for, people look for something to cheer against.

And you suffer from Pop derangement syndrome. Dumbasses like you believe if #2 wins a championship that somehow Pop and the FO will be humbled.

Tor still has a good team around Kawhi and I would be legit shocked if PHI sonned them.

If TOR loses to PHI it will be devastating to the franchise. Kawhi would leave for sure, at best they over pay Gasol to try and remain a playoff team and worst they toil as a lottery team for a few years.
