Questionable fumble call.
I would like to understand where exactly Texas falters, because this is beginning to feel like groundhog’s day all over again. Are the coaches that bad at their job? Is it the kinds of kids they recruit? Are other teams cheating? Are the refs on the take?

I dont feel like it was a fumble......but tbh all the bounces and calls have gone to maryland today. It also doesnt help that our 3rd down d has been horrid.

Sam needs to be benched for good, he isn't the QB for Texas. Lets see what Buschele can do, if he is no better go with the freshmen. I never want to see Sam behind center again. He has given away too many games.
I'm not making excuses for Sam, but this was not a well coached team yet again. They weren't ready for a team in disarray.
What happened to Ingram? He looked good when they gave him the ball. I did not see him in the second half.

Why wasn't Ingram out there more? He appears to be special. And what is Porter doing out there in crunch time at RB and receiver? Sam might be adequate with a good run game around him using play action and such but now I would rate him as a situational package player at best. Like a ticking time bomb.Sadly he might be the best available? I am about ready to see what Rising offers. At the very least Ingram needs to be paired with Sam and more play action stuff and less of the flat pass to the sideline for no gain.Sorry for the rambling and I hope my negativity is misplaced.

longhorn network crew unhappy with the play calling and already calling for shane to get some reps. i still don't know what to think of elhinger. there are times where he looks like he has the tools and there are other times where it seems as if the game is speeding up for him (especially in the closing minutes).

Ehlinger is Tony Romo Part II. Everything about him looks right and you see some flashes of greatness. But when it comes down to it, he doesn’t convert when it matters most. Wins. I hope we try something else quickly.
