Apparently Sinema has said there are 6-8 other Democratic senators who are privately glad this thing got shot down as they did not want to vote for it.

Because Sinema is Democratic vote #49 in the senate and Manchin is Democratic vote #50 on any reconciliation bill attempt.

Sinema will kill the voting rights act by insisting on a smokescreen of bi-partisan passage, which she knows is impossible.
Biden can only forgive govt loans, not private loans.
Happily, 92% are govt loans.
Maybe the Dem tactic is to pause 90 days until May, then forgive the debt in the middle of the election year.

Why should the rest of us pay for others' student debt - should those who forwent going to college, or worked 2 jobs to pay off theirs, or went community college and state college (instead of AOC's expensive private university) or parents who sacrificed, scrimped and saved to put their kids through college have to pay for those who didn't?
