If Ehlinger played seventy snaps and made one bad error then our pass offense must change. We don’t get enough guys breaking free in the open on quick passes due to good blocking arrangement or on most pass plays down field. I recall Humphrey, Duvernay, and our other tight end getting well open but a ton of passes were contested. Part of a good passing offense is getting guys open. But it requires coordination on routes, looking guys off, and flat at recognizing a defensive set with an obvious weakness. That’s on the coaches imo unless our guys are running improper routes. If they cant block on quick passes, don’t call those plays. Ehlinger,it appears, must have guys breaking open (Unless it’s Colin) So get guys open.
Tom Herman is making the AD's decision much easier. There better be a huge improvement or his career will be over by year 3.
Maybe we should let a coach actual try and coach. He’s been here for 14 games and “fans” are calling for his head. How about we quit being arm chair quarterbacks and give the man a chance.
His first game here, these “fans” started throwing trash on the field.

Not sure I have any say in if he keeps his job or not, however, the proof is in the results and so far in those 14 games he is still .500. He is now acting defiant in his decision about starting Ehlinger. That is fine, but if the results don't follow he is going to be fired, and it will all come down to his dumbass decision to stick with an ineffective QB.
One other point, If he doesn't want the fans to be dumbasses, maybe he shouldn't be a dumbass and do stupid stuff like getting off the bus with a baseball bat, and some of the other stupid stuff he does and says.
