15/7 by Tony in 16 minutes. I'd say that's pretty impressive
With the helter-skelter subs ution patterns and playing all 12 guys, I didn't expect the Spurs D to be great tonight. But it was a good win.
And TP's 15 and 7 in 16 minutes is a great sign of things to come.
It's good to see him and Manu getting healthy.

the definition of efficient
4th consecutive victory
Our backcourt is awesome.
Our D was crap, but a win is a win... let's hope it gets better for tomorrow.
balanced offense tonight, good sign
Spurs 109, Grizzlies 98: Parker returns
FOURTH QUARTER
Tony Parker had 15 points and seven assists in his return from an ankle injury and Roger Mason Jr. had 20 points and a big third quarter to help the Spurs beat the Memphis Grizzlies 109-98.
Tim Duncan had 11 points, his lowest scoring output of the year, and 11 rebounds. Duncan completed a three-point play with 4:13 left in the game that extended the Spurs' lead to 13 and got to sit out the final three minutes.
Parker went back into the game for the third time with 4:30 remaining.
The Grizzlies were making a run and cut the lead to 82-79. The Spurs answered with a 3-pointer from Manu Ginobili and a three-point play from George Hill. The Spurs lead 88-79 with 6:03 left in the game.
The Spurs opened the fourth quarter with a lineup of George Hill, Roger Mason Jr., Michael Finley, Ime Udoka and Kurt Thomas. Thomas had five points in the first three minutes of the quarter and the Spurs led 82-74 with nine minutes left.
THIRD QUARTER
Mason scored 14 points in the third quarter and Tony Parker was up to 10 points and five assists as the Spurs finished the period with a 73-70 lead.
Parker hit the floor for the second time at the 5:18 mark of the third quarter. He was part of a three-guard lineup with Mason, and Manu Ginobili. Tim Duncan and Fabricio Oberto were also on the court.
Parker hit his first shot of the second half, a jumper, but then left a runner short on his second attempt.
The Spurs went on an 8-0 run that included back-to-back 3-pointers by Michael Finley and Mason to take a 58-46 lead with 7:22 left in the third quarter.
SECOND QUARTER: PARKER ENTERS THE GAME
Ginobili had nine points to lead the Spurs to a 46-36 halftime lead and Parker was making baskets and assists in his return.
Tim Duncan had a quiet half offensively with only one basket and three points, but eight rebounds.
Parker played almost seven minutes in his first stretch on the floor. He hit 2 of 3 shots for four points, four assists and one rebound. George Hill replaced Parker at the 5:15 mark.
Talk about not making a grand entrance, Parker practically snuck into the game. He made his return to action by starting the second quarter. He wasn't even announced when he entered the game. Despite that, fans started to cheer the first time he dribbled the ball up the floor.
The first time his name was called was when he was whistled for a charge.
Parker had a quick impact on the game, however. He had a made basket on his first field-goal attempt, three assists and a rebound his first three minutes of the game. That helped the Spurs go from a one-point edge to a 25-18 lead.
FIRST QUARTER
Ginobili and Hill combined for nine points in the last six minutes of the first quarter and the Spurs finished the period with a 17-16 lead.
Ginobili entered the game at the 6:35 mark. He made his first two shots - a drive through the left side of the lane and a 3-pointer with a defender in his face. A Duncan free throw put the Spurs in front 13-12 for their first lead of the game.
Finley hit his first shot and Mason drilled a 3-pointer. Both struggled with their shooting on Monday. The Grizzlies lead 9-7 at the first timeout.
The Grizzlies started out with a big front line: 7-foot Darko Milicic and 7-1 Marc Gasol on the floor together. Milicic was guarding Duncan at the beginning of the game.
PREGAME: PARKER COMING OFF THE BENCH
Spurs starters: Roger Mason Jr., Michael Finley, Bruce Bowen, Tim Duncan and Fabricio Oberto. Inactive are Jacque Vaughn, Blake Ahearn and Ian Mahinmi.
Tony Parker is expected to play when the Spurs take on the Memphis Grizzlies tonight at the AT&T Center.
Parker suffered an ankle injury the fifth game of the season and has sat out the last nine games. For the first four games before he was hurt, he averaged 33.2 points and 7.2 assists per game.
The Spurs have won six of their last seven games and have let their opponents crack 90 points only twice in that run. Tonight they will try to extend their overall win streak to four games - which would be their longest of the season.
George Hill and Roger Mason combined for 38 points in Monday's 94-81 victory over the Grizzlies in Memphis. Hill followed that up with Wednesday's double-double - 19 points and 11 rebounds in a 98-88 victory over the Chicago Bulls at the AT&T Center.
Those last two games also marked the first two games of the season for Manu Ginobili, who had offseason ankle surgery. Ginobili recorded 12 points in 11 minutes of playing time in his season debut against the Grizzlies and 15 points in 18 minutes against the Bulls.
The Grizzlies have lost eight of their last nine games, including Monday's loss to the Spurs.

This team is fun to watch. I could really see the Horry of 2005 fitting in...we need a big like that.
: San Antonio Spurs for the winning streak!
pls do the D against Houston
How nice is it to have Manu and Tony on the bench while Roger Mason keeps the offense scoring.
Huge problem solved from last year.
if spurs had mason last year against lakers
spurs would have beaten the lakers
be intersting to see the minutes tomorrow against a good team
and not on a back to back
I like how Pop allocated playing time. Manu and Tony are just at the right pace and TD getting just over 30 minutes.
When everyone contributes offensively the way they did tonight, it really lessens the pressure on Pop to play the Big 3 more than he'd like.
notable stats:
I'm so impressed with TP tonight.
13 min 5-8 FG 6 asst
and
Hill
19 min 3-5 FG 7 assts 6-6 FT 3 rbds
Less wear and tear on TD. Healthy Manu and Tony for the playoffs. Development of Hill and proper integration of Mason on the Spurs system. I like!
I shudder to admit that I've been having this same thought all year.
-TP looked healthy.
-Manu wasn't as stiff.
-RMJ is deadly as a 4th option.
-Hill adjusted to whatever role he was put in.
-Gay and Mayo consistently hit tough shot after tough shot.
I hope you haven't been talking to Mrs. Manu.
Mayo = Isiah Rider
Hopefully not in every way.
I'm loving the depth on this team now... these next 3 games are going to be tough... let's see what these guys can do together.
Mayo just didn't have enough Bowen on him.
Spurs 57% vs 55%, that was some excellent offense.
Those Grizz boys can really shoot, a wide variety of shots.
62 pts in the 2nd half in SA's gym!!
