Looks like Denver will be getting that #2 seed if they win out. Their last 2 games are at home against the Browns and Chiefs. With Peyton Manning there, no one will be thinking ahead. He will keep the team focused.
49ers lack an elite QB which will do them in yet again in January. In this league, you need elite QB play to win in the postseason. I don't care how great their run game and D are.

this "elite QB" talk sounds like like "can't win a le w/ Dirk as your best player"
the team just ING wins
to say they can't simply execute and win 3-4 playoff games with this much talent, possibly 2 at home... is just foolish. Of course they CAN. Will they? We'll see![]()
they lost in OT last year with special teams errors..the 3rd down conversions hurt, but they were pretty close... and this years team is noticeably better.
I like Denver against Houston if they happen to rematch. Both Peyton and the D have improved exponentially since that game.
You need an elite QB to win a SB in today's NFL.
it's sad if true, because that limits the idea of parity in the league. though does Rapistburger count as elite, since they won 2 with him?
Amazing how bad the Pats played in the first half. The Niners should have been up by 4 touchdowns by halftime.
I would definitely count Ben as elite. Furthermore, I don't think any other QB would do as much with that horrible offensive line. People don't realize just how awful that line's been from 2006-present. He's a rapist s bag, but clutch as .
I've always said that the clutch gene must be very similar to the rapist gene, since neither take No for an answer. he's definitely clutch.
Houston wins next week they clinch HFA. That means NE would have to go at Denver. I would pick NE in that game.
Saints at Cowboys should be a fun game next week.
The Jets are likely going to finish 9-7...imagine if that dog team made the playoffs![]()
Saints are going to be playing for the chance to impress and keep Sean Peyton.
Actually letting the Cowboys win may help them keep Payton![]()
He certainly wasn't elite in his first Super Bowl, since it's still the worst performance by a quarterback in Super Bowl history... luckily the refs were there to save his ass for det one....
Sons, whoever the Chargers' new GM is this offseason better be right at Sean Payton's door with a blank check ASAP, tbh....
Lol...
Looks like the best argument against the niners is they lack an elite qb despite kap being
Top 5 in passer rating and averaging
Over 7 yards an attempt...this was a playoff type game tonight and they beat the ing patriots. If u dont think brady didnt want this one u crazy... Theyve beaten aaron rodgers brees and now brady this year.. What more
Do my boys gotta do... This is the best team in the nfc by far
"Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh"
-Brandon Carr, 12/16/12
tee, hee
Deep down you'all dread the Giants like everyone else in the league. Giants are still the most dangerous team in the NFL. They handed the Niners their most embarrassing loss this season. That was a beat down.

good game imo
Brady looked so gay running away from the crowd of nigs after Ridley's fumble.
inb4 mono post the tracy porter pick
If you look at the NFC playoff picture, not many elite QBs involved for the Niners to deal with.
Matt Ryan? No.
Rodgers? Yes
Wilson? No
RGIII? No
Romo? No
Eli? Sure, but inconsistent as
Cutler? No
Ponder? No
There are alot of good QBs on that list, but not many elite. The Niners are good enough to beat those teams. CK is not elite and is unproven, but he can make enough plays to help them win. He's an upgrade over Smith as well.
