You re . He tells them, and you, a parable to VEIL THE TRUTH.
This testimony is true about you.... "I have spoken to you of earthly things and you do not believe; how then will you believe if I speak of heavenly things?" - John 3:12
You re . He tells them, and you, a parable to VEIL THE TRUTH.
Says you.
But hey, you making up your own Bible philosophy is nothing new. It's been around since Bible times.
See what I mean?
This idiot is truly delusional.
He is probably a sociopath too who believes his own lies and delusions of grandeur.
Plus he is too busy condemning all of us to really see the true message of Jesus Christ, love and forgiveness.
Well, I forgive you your ignorance skull.
why would he come to earth to veil the truth?
Ask Him. He tells you why in the verses I quoted.
No, I am quoting Christ. References to the veiling of scripture are ALL OVER THE PLACE You just don't want to believe it. The old wine is good enough.
"All this I have spoken to you in veiled language. The time is coming when I shall no longer speak to you in veiled language, but will tell you about the Father in plain words." - John 16:25

Epic fail on your part, skull. Admit it, you lost big time.
Read the words. Veiled. Parable. Perceive. These are consistent.
But they did not understand His meaning: it was veiled from them that they might not perceive it, and they were afraid to ask Him about it. - Luke 9:45
Veiled. Parable. It is the same thing. Idiots.

3So if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are dying (perishing, being destroyed). - 2 Cor 4:3
Spiritual concept here.
You keep trying and failing miserably to turn my own words against me.
Give up skull, you lost a long long time ago.
You should repent all the foul things you've said about me, about Pop, about Manu, about San Antonio and the best Mexican food in the world, and about God, .... Also about all these others you maliciously malign.
LOL!
Thanks for finally once and for all in conceding defeat, that you were totally owned.
No matter what you post from now on, and if you post anything else, it is an admission that you have been wrong all along.
And that your whole entire life up to this point in time has been a complete waste.
This is the final word on this subject.
Goodbye and good riddance.
nah, there's no actual veil. It's just a parable.
Skull-1 is a terrible poster.
LOL at religion.
You are grasping at straws with your mysticism.
1 Timothy 2:3-4
King James Version (KJV)
3*For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;
4*Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.
Because Jesus came down to veil the good news!
It doesn't say *when* they are saved you twit. I already referenced that verse to refute eternal , so let's not act like you discovered something I didn't already know.
"But the natural man does not receive/understand/perceive/accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are folly to him; and he cannot know....CANNOT KNOW.....cannot know...CANNOT KNOW them because they are spiritually discerned..." - 1 Cor 2:14
Blake, you are overmatched. Give it up. The Good News is consistently referred to as a mystery. As veiled. Parables abound. Jesus Himself tells you it is veiled. Go argue with HIM and tell HIM how wrong He is and how right YOU are. I am sure He will get a good laugh.
When Paul says WE and YOU it doesn't mean everyone--it only refers to those to whom it applies, as defined by scripture...
"--(A)nd the scripture cannot be broken--" -John 10:35
You, sir, are not one of the WE or YOU Paul speaks of. You're a THEY or THEM, a mocker. A fool.

A few of these don't directly apply but I am growing weary of wasting my time on imbeciles so I am not going to edit them out. I also am not endorsing the version listed. The NIV sucks and is usually the default on that site. I did not check. Disclaimers included, the point is made regardless.

Then you can search veiled.
Then try hidden, concealed, secret, symbolic, etc..
Parable. Veiled. Hidden. It lays it out there for you. What tiny little bit of knowledge YOU, Blake, THINK you have has been snatched away.
Only a very very few find the truth in this life. To the rest it is hidden. Veiled. The good must contend against something. Someone has to oppress the elect if the elect are to be like their Teacher.
This stuff is way over your head. Keep up with the arrogant rejection of the revelation you are being offered. You will then be assured to learn NOTHING.

A parable IS a veil moron.
Let's look it up.
Nothing about a veil. Quite the opposite, actually.A parable is a short tale that illustrates universal*truth, one of the simplest of*narratives. It sketches a setting, describes an*action, and shows the*results. It often involves a character facing a*moral*dilemma, or making a questionable*decision*and then suffering the*consequences. Though the meaning of a parable is often not explicitly stated, the meaning is not usually intended to be hidden or secret but on the contrary quite straightforward and obvious.[6]
http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Parable
Looks like you are overmatched by wikipedia.
I ALREADY LOOKED IT UP: IN THE BIBLE. JESUS is the authority on what parables are, not Wikipedia.
Hey! You there! o?!?!! Listen carefully......... Jesus defines what a parable is in the many verses I quoted. He spoke in parables to veil the truth so they (YOU!) WOULD NOT....WOULD NOT....WOULD NOT UNDERSTAND / SEE / PERCEIVE.
Are you stupid?
THERE IS NOT A SINGLE PARABLE IN THE BIBLE THAT YOU, BLAKE, CAN EXPLAIN. NOT ONE. (Even the ones I have dropped hints about you do not grasp. And full disclosure: many are still veiled to me, so in that regard you're not alone.)
I will take Jesus over Wikipedia. LMAO at anyone who cites Wikipedia as an authority on scripture.
Go back and read the scriptures again. And again. And again. Very slowly.
"I speak to them in parables so they WILL NOT understand."
Will not.
If understanding by the many was His goal then He would not have spoken in a parable designed explicitly to veil the truth to them.

So he wants all men to be saved, but he veils the truth to all except for a select few.
Your Jesus doesn't seem to want to save all men very badly.
I am not going to parlay with you much longer.
NARROW IS THE WAY....AND FEW....FEW....FEW.....THERE BE THAT FIND IT. FEW.
I can't explain why the rules are as written, I just know what they are.
Saving all is on His timetable. You put temporal limits on salvation that do not exist. If God chooses to save us after we die then that's His prerogative. It will be far more pleasant to be saved in this life, but I see no scriptural requirement for it to be so.
The truth is veiled for God's purposes, one of which is to show mercy on the evil people.....eventually. I wouldn't want to suffer the recompense that will precede it, however.
Blake, his jesus isn't the real Christ. He follows the antichrist.
You can tell by his twisting of the Word to fit his tiny narrow self righteous conception of reality.
Tiny minds like his have no choice but to rebel against the Truth.
There are man...many...MANY...MANYempty talkers and deceivers...WHO MUST BE SILENCED, for they are upsetting whole families by teaching things they should not teach for sordid gain. - Paul the Apostle through Direct revelation.
Many. Like evangelist preachers, catholic priests, and braindead christians who don't understand the gospel they profess to follow.
I don't make a penny off my teaching. I offer it for free to all. And I am one of a very few. I also do not break apart families preaching remarriage heresies...
The way is narrow. The keys to the Kingdom are the veiled mysteries that most everyone sails right past.
Again, if you cannot perceive the VISIBLE THINGS you will never grasp the spiritual things.
