Brazil will go out firing for Neymar and for country and they'll take the first thirty minutes as some sort of an indignation rally for the "travesty" that happened to that got Neymar. Germany has to weather that if they want to win this game. Eventually the emotions will level, Brazil will get a little tired and that's where Germany can beat them methodically. Of course if they get an early goal, the better for their chances obviously.
The Brazilian crowd can't save German shots and neither they can intercept the Frankfurter crosses. They also can't score goals for their team. Chile were vastly outnumbered and they almost beat Brazil in the Rd of 16. The most they can do is pump a lot of emotional inspiration on their players, which wears out especially if they lack execution. Proper execution still beats a charge of emotions.
hater not saying you were wrong but I predicted this game tbh. Well, except that Germany sucked the life out of the Brazilians in Belo Horizonte 10 minures in.

    Brazil, so predictable

Germany should have been up 6-0 before 35'. Fernandinho should have been called for a handball on Kross' shot.

surrendering in under 20mins...more epic then france surrendering to germans when it cross its borders in ww2 without an effort?

dont know why those idiot brazil fans were crying even after a few goals, did they really thought they had a chance of beating or even puttin up a match against this german side?

delusional with or without silva/neyma, the brazil team was poorly put togethere anyway, they had no business advancing this far in the tournament

What's the difference between the Selecao and Oscar Pistorious? Pistorious has a better defence and more shots on target.

Germany's game to lose tbh. Much better team, better individual talent and better coach. They're ready to win the WC again. It's now or never.
Germany plays as a team, Brazil doesn't. Brazil usually relies on individual talent, but this time they don't have any superstar talent to face Germany. We could say that Brazil/Germany have similar talent defensively, but offensively Germany wins and it's not even close. And I am counting the bench here as well. Brazil's bench is pathetic because of Scolari's pathetic choices.

Seriously, I don't see Brazil winning this match unless a miracle or a massive choke from Germany happen.
    Called it tbh

Maracanazo was nothing compared to that Blitzkrieg that happened yesterday. Brazil fell apart without Silva controlling the defense and apparently Scolari thought that he would be able to beat Germany losing the midfield and with Hulk, Fred and Bernard as their main strikes. What a ing failure of a coach.

ST was off for days, at least for me in Brazil but I came here to congratulate Sportstudi and all the other German fans. Germany is ready to win the 4th le. This German team wasn't built in a few months. It started back in 2000 after the Euro when Germany started to invest money to develop young talent. Now they're getting the results with massive young talent. It's definitely something that Brazil could learn from.

As for Brazil, "pao e circo" is over.

Thanks a lot! You said you will come and you delivered. Hat off for your words, I really appreciate it.

Scolari was a moron, I agree. But I do also think that even with Neymar and Silva Germany would have won that game. Of course not that high, but likely still convincing. That was soccer close to perfection yesterday, especially in the first half.

    This man knows his .

I think over time every european country can emulate the things Germany did regarding football but it will be hard for others. If you are a good young soccer player e.g. in Brazil, agents just want to make money of you, caring only about not beeing dumped by you before you got them a nice payday. That said, you will only become a world class player, if you get to one of the big european leagues and its more luck than anything in which situation you will land. Your on your own and chances are that you will be back home when your contract is up. In Germany its way easier to land in the right situation and even late bloomers can make it (see miroslav Klose which came out of nowhere without beeing in one of the youth national teams). You can stay home longer, agents will look at the long therm gain (not always but they will get into trouble if they break certain rules), and if you bomb somewhere you will get a second chance.

Not saying Germany wasn't the better team, but we gotta be carefull about the 1:7 thing. If we don't score the 0:1 Brazil may not fall apart at all and maybe, just maybe, it's still 0:0 at halftime. The way it happened, Brazil didn't know how they wanted to respond. Weather the storm and defend? Try to even the game right away? Their Coach and Captain are responsible for that. They just broke appart and matters got even worse when we scored the 0:2. Germany deserved the win and played great, but nobody should act like we are 1:7 better than Brazil.

I feel with them. They never acted realy y in my book and you could tell, that they carried the weight of the world or Brazil for that matter in their shoulders. All the weeping showed it. If the World Cup wasn't in Brazil they may have played better.

Of course the first goal helped immensely. That's not even a question. Without that first goal it might have been a very long game. And I never ever said that Germany is 7 times better than Brazil. Only a moron would think that way. After the second goal Brazil fell apart, they were in panic and all that led to those remarkable 6 minutes in which Germany scored 4 goals.

I was also happily surprised that this game wasn't anywhere close to style of play Brazil used vs. Chile and Colombia. Basically no fouling at all, they didn't behave badly in any way. Nice to see. And I agree, the WC held in Brazil caused insane pressure on them, they just broke.

6 of Germany's goals were from counter attacks. Yeah their (BRA) strikers were bad but the Brazil defense broke down worse than Abou Diaby

Everyone is acting like Germany is all the sudden the inventors of football, when in fact they are the biggest chokers of the last decade. And the es who whine the most during pre-game. I had them winning the WC before this match, now I'm not so sure. I think it will be between Argentina or Netherlands. Germany will choke.
