All those people that said OKC probably won't make the playoffs, where are they now? Right now the Spurs are closer to the 8th seed than the 1st or 2nd seed. They way they have thrown away winnable games, coupled now with these injuries, if they don't get their together OKC could conceivably have home court in a series against us.

Wow. When did this happen? I don't recall seeing him injure it, but then again I wasn't watching the game very closely tonight.
There is no way the thunder finish above the spurs the standings..The spurs are still on pace to win 52+ games and for the thunder to do that, they have to win at 70% rate...Not going to happen.

The only thing that matters is home court over the thunder and I am positive they will get that.

If Kawhi didn't get seriously hurt and if there isn't further risk of worsening the injury then he'll just need to tough it out for the rest of the month. After that they can rest him (if needed) but it'll be very tough for the Spurs to win during this stretch without him. Even with a injured hand, Kawhi is better than the alternative.

FWIW, talking about injuries, Robin Lopez broke his hand. He'll be out for a while for Portland...
that is huge ... if they want to keep Aldridge at PF, Kaman has to start and their bench goes very thin again

Looks like he aggravated that hand injury. hopefully it's not broken but looked bad tbh.
JUST F IN GREAT, injury after injury this year and now maybe a broken hand or aggravated it. This year is not going smoothly at all, damn it has started out bad with everyone missing time and banged up. I hope for the best but damn.

well, it really did not look good, but you play basketball with your hands and when you have a bruised hand or a jammed finger it will take months to fully heal because you always get slapped on or you do not catch the ball correctly, etc.

Why doesn't he wear a glove like Westbrook?

The only issue with Kawhi and his hand is that the past 2 games he has struggled to make a shot in the 1st quarter. We'll see if that's a pattern or not.

good question, but his ball-handling is not the best anyways so a glove might worsen that even more ...

Kawhi really looked like he just had a stinger on his hand at the end. RoLo on the other hand was barely even noticed going off the court to the locker room.

Original reports were Diaw, but lately I've heard Baynes. To be honest, I didn't see when it happened, Kawhi's injury at the end was seen by more people than RoLo's.

It was nice to see Kyle Anderson out there gaining some confidence... and Boris was outstanding. His shots are like buttery french croissants (as Sean always puts it, hehe)... So soft and oh so fluffy and delish.
