He's coming over after 2 yrs... Calm down![]()
This draft was about as exciting as Tony Parker in the playoffs. What a load of .
Spurfan is mad that they passed on a "lights out shooter" who shot 30% from the college 3?
. He'll probably get injured in a motorcycle accident and blow out his damn knee and we're never going to see him .
He's a zero on defense and has very little post game. He's Tiago Splitter in every way imaginable. He has a sizable wingspan so the Spurs will teach him to stand his ground and throw his arms up in the air daring defenders to shoot over the top of him. Very underwhelming pick but very typical of a GM who's had his head in a foxhole the past 3-4 seasons. The Spurs would be better off forfeiting their draft picks because most of them turn out to be utter trash.
Lakers have the No.2 pick and another First Rounder . . .
They get D'Angelo Russell and Larry Nance Jr.![]()

DX says he's a solid defender who has upside on that end. Good P&R player and finisher at the basket and mobile for his size (7 Ft, 7'3 Wingspan). Spurs could have done plenty worse.
You missed our first round pick in 2012. Who was that again?
Spurs will trade their 2015 2nd Round pick for a 2024 2nd Round pick.
Didn't have one. Traded it for Stephen Jackson
I wonder if the Spurs will buy another pick in the second round. If they're looking for value and to maintain cap space initially this is the route to go...no deal is guaranteed.
every year, more and more im convinced this front office just got stupid lucky with manu/tp and of course timmy. Outside of that they have stupid ing picks left and right.
Well, I've seen him in action. He has zero ability to affect shots at the rim a la Splitter. He's a razor thin 7"3 bunny jumper. Think of him as a smaller version of Shawn Bradley. Yeah, the Spurs could have done worse but as typical of most Spurs drafts, mid season is when we'll be looking back at all the talent the Spurs could of had with the 26th pick.
Houston with a stellar draft. Damn.
George Lucas De Paula anyone?
He withdrew from the draft.
1. Tiago Splitter clone.
2. Two years from now.
