then again, Carolina might not have anything to play for, either
That's a long drive, but I-10 is kind of neat and not too hot this time of year. Went for Black Friday 2009 with my mom on the way back from seeing my grandfather who was a couple years from dying of Alzheimer's in the VA hospital in Jackson, MS.
I was 15 and a half years old at the time and the Saints were 9-0... if I remember correct, the Favre Vikings were too. Got to walk around Bourbon Street and eat fried oysters with Crystal louisiana hot sauce and tail sauce. Fried oysters are the food of the gods, tbh. I love jambalaya normally but at the restaurant we went to, it was just okay. The chicken gumbo was mediocre. I didn't like the etoufee. And the "boudin" just about made me puke.
If the Saints win the super bowl this year, ya gotta buy me some NOLA fried oysters and king cake. Also spot me a place to get good jambalaya. And the much-advertised women that don't mind bearing them ties.

The Saints need a bye week tbh bc they have been playing like garbage for a while now. I'm not really seeing a favorite out in the NFC tbh. Anybody can win it. The same goes for the AFC as well. First time there's a playoff without a really big favorite in either conference in a while
There’s usually a big disparity in how they play at home vs. the road, especially on offense. Last night was their 3rd straight road game and they won 2 out of 3 which is fine. Now they’re home throughout the rest of regular season and playoffs barring an epic collapse.
NFC is so bad
Saints won't have to play on the road, though, can't see anybody in the NFC beating them..Goff, Trubisky, Dak or Cousins going into NO and winning? No..
Foles and Struggle.
I just realized that if the Chargers wind up winning their division, AFC homefield throughout the playoffs would go through a 27,000 seat povertyball stadium.
Patriots get lucky again. Go Texans and Chiefs this weekend, I guess?
