Really sloppy first game.

Champagnie and Barnes being able to be effective as wings, and Sochan being a scrappy off ball interior threat are positives.
Wemby wasn't great. Physical strength is still a work in progress, but that was known going in.
Got up 3s, but the spacing felt off, just a lack of certainty.

The Castle pass to set up the Branham 3 was excellent. Of the two questions I had going into the draft, I'm getting more and more comfortable with the on ball PG skills and the range of vision (shot is the other, that's still TBC). Didn't complain when calls didn't go his way, and some rookie calls / judgements on physicality. Really exciting when he's able to (allowed to) do Jrue things.

I agree. Pop has really pussified this team. Players like Keldon and Sochan and Tre play like pussies. They don't attack with any strenght, with any power, with any aggression. They constantly get pushed and shoved around all over the court. No edge to them. It's like the first thing we do when we draft a player is give them a sex change.

Funny enough, the one guy who does have an edge to him, Collins, always gets his pushed in when he does anything other players don't like. Dude has a "left the game with his face bloody" montage

Talking about sex change, I’d trade a bunch os these players for Caitlin Clark. She would play pussified, meaning with heart and aggressiveness. Not like these weak ass fellas we have in our team.

Yeah Keldon, Tre, and Collins are absolutely useless. Of course the sniffers want them around but I guess the sniffers like 20 win teams.

Champ is the only bench player worth a damn, I want Bassey to play more. Castle needs to play.

CP3 and the beast Barnes are an acceptable supporting cast. Problem is that besides Viktor and them, this team has no scoring whatsoever. This would have been worst without Champ’s contributions. Also, I see no fire in the coaching staff either.

Why would they? It's not like anything on Pop staff is performance based. He going to be here long as he want, and his scrotum washer Brown is going to be here as long as Pop wants him here.

That's another problem with this team. Other teams coaches have to coach to win at some point otherwise they get fired. Not in San Antonio. In San Antonio a coach can fail to win 35 games FOR 5 STRAIGHT YEARS and have no fear of losing his job.

sometimes sochan can be so useless cause he cant nothing on offense.Doesnt do nothing on offense,Cant shoot,Cant create plays And cant

At the same time I’m disappointed with a couple players tonight but ok with them not getting blown out because of it. Damn mavs have 3 seasoned closers, hof’ers. Wishing Vic would play inside the arc a bit more, especially starting out.

When I saw Barnes hit that baseline J in the 2nd quarter I thought it was Kurt Thomas. Had to rub my eyes a bit.

He was there too, sitting behind one of the benches.

One thing you have to hand to Sochan is that few players can deliberately and with measured tempo dribble out of bounds like he can.
