Rasheed played a perfect game. Didn't at the refs, went to the post, rebounded, knocked down some 3's to strech the defense, and gave Timmy on the other end. That's Rasheed showing his newfound focus after his screw up in game 5.
Enough with the "it's early in the season" talk, Think about it, 36 games in, If something is going to happen, it needs to happen soon, Rodeo trip is just around the corner, it could get ugly.

Hats off to the Pistons, they are simply a damm good team.
please don't include hops and rasho in the same sentence..the ass kicking was bad enough
At least i am glad they aren't the Lakers and hear all of this Hollywood talk. Nevertheless, this thing was painful and once again I am glad I missed it.
Rasho does not even compare to Darko. Darko is just....to scary for us to even unleash him.
Easy to say for a Piston's fan, but...
Good game. I am serious when I say that I am not exactly sure what conclusions to draw from that game except that its another W.
Teams arent even in the same conference and I would purport that a 7 game series is much, much different than 2 games inside 30 days.
Hope to see you in June
This wasn't an ass kicking, they farted in our face, and then gave us a wedgie. That's what older kids do to you, they don't kick your ass.
They are probably sticking our heads in the toilet right now
Finally, a civilized, mature person on this board. Spurs looked great early in the 2nd and shut Detroit down when they had those straight 11 misses. Spurs are just in a slump, that's all. Good game.
All the best to the Pistons till the Finals...
Well said. We'd use him, but we don't want to be too hard on the other teams in the league. They're having enough trouble with us as is.![]()
My Spurs banner is bleeding Blue and red right now
You win the award for funniest post of the night.
you are reading my mind.. don't forget to mention we never got the sand out of our faces..
Thank you!
I'd like to thank my mom for having me, and the Spurs! Without their utter incompetence and lack of heart and rebounding this would not have been possible. If only I could make someones signature.
Tough to call winning 6 of 7 a slump, but yea. I expect Manu and Timmy to play better next time we play. As for the Pistons missing 11 in a row... Yea, they're capable of that. Especially with a big lead. They get very conservative and those shots stop falling. That's the bad side to a big lead. It tends to change the way you play.
Pistons were not aggressive enough only 4 free throw attempts, they are not going to win many games that they only take 4 free throws. It is only a regular season game so it doesn't mean a thing, Manu needs to start.
These things do happen!
I got really excited in the fourth when the guys decided they wanted to fight. That was awesome. For a minute there it felt like Game 7- well then and we we were down by 14.![]()
I must say it made me really mad how many people mass exodus-ed out of the SBC Center at the end.
I was all ready for someone to go Tracy McGrady and win it for us.
Next time!
In June baby!!!
Perhaps it was just me...but tonights game was really intense. Maybe it was becasue I wanted the win so badly. Maybe it was because I was afraid the Spurs were gonna steal one from us.
I wish our 2 teams played together more than twice during the regular season.
i don't know if this was mentioned on any other post, but i kinda knew the spurs weren't going to win, when before the game started, at the shoot around, on national television, minutes before the biggest game of the year was about to start TONY PARKER WAS ING YAWNING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The Pistons played great and absolutely deserved to win. They really look good right now - they are really playing as a team and their moves are amazingly fluid. The way they were passing the ball, it often looked like they were just playing with the Spurs.
Not to say I am at all happy about it, but congrats on the win. =)
