I just seen the video. How can the NBA, with a straight face, suspend someone for that!? It wasn't like Jason Terry wound up and gave Finley a violent punch. First Giniboli falls on top of him and then Finley falls on his head. So what is he suppose to do? From what I saw, Terry had very little room to do any damage. Was that even a legitimate punch? If you call what he did "a punch" then THAT is what I call laughable!

I'll have to watch it again to remember who exactly it was, but Manu was picking Timmy up and I'm not sure if Manu was gonna pick up the Mav player, but another Mav came and shoved Manu away to pick him up, kinda like "leave him alone and get away" kinda way.

Finley didn't land on Terry's head. His body is sideways across his chest. You can even see him settle into Terry, in the same way most loose ball scrums end. Finley doesn't even land on him hard, he is propped on his elbow, and then makes sure to sell the fact that he has his hands on the ball. He couldn't have been anymore careful in the way his body made conatct with Terry's body. This pile driving drivel is the stupidest things I have ever heard.

Cuban on Terry Suspension: "It's not right"
Mark Cuban, the Mavericks' owner, made the following comments in response to Terry's suspension in an e-mail sent to ESPN on Thursday.
"It's not right, and I told the league so.

"It's certainly not consistent with what the league has done in the past.

"Jason responds to a guy hipchecking him in the head while he is on his back and can't protect himself and he gets suspended. You can't throw a punch while you are on your back and someone is laying on you.

"If Jason had tried to get him off with an open hand, or an elbow, we wouldnt be talking about this at all. Look at [Manu] Ginobli in the replays, he is staring at everything that happens and doesn't respond at all, but all the while you can see the grimace on Jason's face.

"The league also said they didn't know if the [Michael] Finley piledriver with his hip to Jason's head while Ginobli was lying on him was intentional or not. So they couldn't do anything about it.

"Unbelievable. When it's all (said) and done, this series could end up being talked about for all the wrong reasons."
