The commentator (Vilfan) was really tough to listen today, but he said one thing right.. Rasho-Brezec combination should come handy, Pipan should try more of that tomorrow. And i would like to see Jaka, Becirovic and Ozbolt with them. Even if it is just for a minute.

This quote confused me! Any GOOD TEAM is an important game for a rising (previously unqualified) team!

This type of aggressiveness give much better results! Just look at how they almost caught up toward the end. They did not seem to have full effort from everyone. This could have been an at ude mistake!

watching Slovenia playing against the USA team not losing composure in the 1st 2 qtrs it made me realize how good this team really is. and they actually outrebounded the US 40-29? That twin towers combination of Rasho and Primo Brezec is worth watching for.

i knew that the Americans would beat Slovenia but i didn't know it would be that hard for the U.S. to do it. They actually reduced the deficit to just 12(?) in the last few minutes of the 4thQ (i was happy bec i bet for a below 17-pt deficit, but lost ).

i think there's a big chance for Slovenia to make the next rd. Good luck for their next game.

and, that Wade's dunk made me remember that VC dunk in the Olympics yrs ago. Wade just became the sparkplug of the U.S. team that whenever he comes in this team makes a run and erase the deficit of the opposing team.Wade's lay-up eight minutes into the contest gave the American team the lead for good.
He did it in the game against China, he did it again when Slovenia was ahead a few pts against their team last night.
