Oh , wasn't the line where Locke goes "you just killed everyone on the boat" and Ben responds with "So" not the sickest line ever? Loved it.
Oh Oh and when he goes "checkmake Mr. Ecko!"
well, that's one of the things I didn't like.
I know John has severe issues about finding the secrets of the island, buttttt
This ing guy just killed all of your friends on the boat, with no explanation other than "so" and "bad emotional responses", shot you in the chest and left you for dead (probably a couple weeks ago), and a whole lot of other that is too numerous to mention.
And then, in the next scene you shake his hand??? no questions asked?? "good luck with the incredibly ridiculous frozen donkey wheel, Ben!"
I didn't hate the episode, I just thought it was really weak for a season finale.

I think Claire died in the house explosion and was a manifistation to everyone that saw her those few days.
That series finale went a little too "sci-fi-ish" imo. Kind of corny when he was turning the switch to move the island.
I was wrong for giving up on the show after the first 2 or 3 seasons. It's still great.

Claire still has to get on a helicopter with Aaron or that whole Charlie storyline was a lie.

yeah, and the farther they get away from that, the more difficult it will be to make that make sense.

yeah but the whole desmond was lying could be a factor in it if they go that route. Maybe he saw AAron leave or maybe they will have Claire eventually leave on a chopper.
eh. Desmond lying would be a stretch based on his character so far........
the way he still uses the term "brother" shows he still has real strong ties to his time as a monk.
I think Claire will eventually be on a chopper, but the more time it takes, it makes Charlie's sacrifice seem less connected to Claire getting on the chopper.
Quick thought: I think the island/Jacob has a way of projecting images of dead or captive people such as Jack's dad, Charlie and now Ecko......as well as people still alive like Claire and Walt.
Remember when Walt was captured by the Others and was typing to his Dad? It was at this time that Shannon was also seeing images of him.
I think whatever place that is, is where Claire currently is.
Yeah I forgot all about Shannon and the Walt thing. Interesting concept. Well we have 2 more seasons to finally get all the answers we have been wanting.
