They are talking about a few years ago.
No, I was comparing this game to the one in 2005 when the Spurs came back from 17?? in fourth quarter to send the game into overtime and beat the Suns.

kicking asses again?![]()
Yep. Back to playing second fiddle. , they might not even make the band this year if they keep playing their current tune.Well the Mavs are back so watch yourselfs!
Spurs win ... Great... Rockets lose ... even better... Mavs still garbage at the bottom of the divison even after a win ... priceless
Rockets 56 pts first half, 28 pt second half, 9 pt 4th qtr.
read the rest of the box score, the number tell the tale

Back to what? The future, which never has been in their case.![]()
seems like yesterday, i still remember that n game and the series......<< amare pushups

spurs win
<<spursfans celebrate
In other news..........Dre matched Wade pretty well in Miami![]()
Bench + Bowen brings the Spurs all the way back. Great game by all.
9 points in the 4th quarter? Is that some kind of record? Was the Spurs defense that unbelievable or the Rockets just went cold? Hard to believe it could be the latter when they have Yao and McGrady...
Man that was a killer win, i thought they were dead in the water in the 3rd quarter. Manu finally got his act together and it is about time for him. Hopefully they don't get shocked by the Bobcats tomorrow night, being complacent from this win.
Manu 48 pts. Nuff said.
Clips disappers in 2nd half @Jazz, Jazz will still be #1 in WC after tonight.
That game to this day was the best regular season game I have ever seen.
Manu had 48 that game I believe.
Spurs are #1 in west.
not for long, the Jazz are blowing out the clippers
clippers are a disgraced, cant win against a team without ak47
Sure was fun listening to the Rockets game announcers over here describing the Rockets collapse. Their main guy is such a homer.
And the fans call-in show afterwards was even better. They want to hang Van Gundy as though he was the one bricking the shots.
But I bet we had some nasty comments on this site about the Spurs when they were down 19.
tell me about it, thats what ticks me off![]()
We should have beaten them, the wolves and the knicks but instead Melo gets thrown out (whiule Cassell jaws off all night) and Boykins ruins the other 2 games for us![]()
The Clippers arent as good as their record suggests

If Alston with 12 is going to be the only guy other than Yao and Mac with more than 6 points - the Spurs are more than likely gonna win every time.
"Spurs are #1 in west."
no, tied with Jazz with 1 loss each.
Great win for any number of reasons -- coming back from way down; winning when Parker didn't have it; sticking it out through the first 35 minutes when it seemed like the Rockets couldn't miss from 3 and McGrady was going to have one of those nights; the possibility that Mike Finley and Robert Horry might get going a bit; the great 2nd half and 4th quarter defense; the continued contributions from Franricio Elberto.
But, in the larger scheme of things, I think it's a great win because the Spurs have road wins already over both the Rockets and Mavericks.
Francisco Elson does it again.
12 points 7 boards.
Thank you Denver.
Props to Beno Stiffreck and Big shot for pulling the team close.
Props to Fin for bagging some big shots, especially the tieing one at 76 all.
Props to Timmy D for owning the 4th quarter again.
Props to Tony parker for bagging shots in the 4th when they counted.
Onto Charlotte![]()
I was watching a movie, and check the score now and POW, a win...fantastic. Nice to see Horry get his shot going finally. And I'm glad to see McGrady being himself...a high-volume, low-percentage shooter...even better. Great team effort, and it's especially encouraging to see the team is able to come back late in games with consistency.
