I really liked Blake and Chris tonight. Then again I always like them.
sad to say it but I am pretty sure Haley is going tomorrow.
bottom 3... Haley, Phil and maybe LaKisha. I'd be surprise with anybody else.
Tonight's theme was awful and most blew it, IMO.
I'm still waiting for the Paula Abdul theme night.

I can't make any predictions about the voting tonight. I'll only say, along with everyone else that Sanjaya wasn't the worst this week.
Sanjaya isnt leaving this week. Can he actually stay on and win? That would kill the show fore ever. They would have to cancel it. It would be to much of a joke.

Very boring show.
1. Blake - sort of boring and kareoke but came across well.
2. Jordin - boring but she did stick her own runs in and again, looks like she is having fun.
3. Sanjaya - sorry, but I REALLY liked it. He did an awesome job. In a night where everyone else was snoozing he looked just as able as most anyone. He sang great, got into the emotion, and pulled it off nicely.
4. Melinda - again she picks a song that suits her and not the genre, and she keeps getting away with it. Simon didn't like her at all.
5. Chris - zzzz. Sounded good but not exciting. This is the point in the rundown that should be labeled 'best of the worst' as only the top 2 shone and melinda was just ok.
6. Lakisha - losing steam in a major way. She was manic and I just don't need to see anymore of her boobs.
7. Haley - wow her hair was awful. I still can't believe what Simon said about her getting by in the contest by wearing skimpy clothes. It may be true, but wow, the way he said it didn't come across well at all.
8. Phil - wow, he was bad. How is he sill in this thing? The guy just creeps me out to watch and his singing sounds like he is whistling thru his nose.

As I always do, I preach demographics. Those that vote for girls, especially white girls, will send a good portion of their Gina votes to Haley. Phil has been the low male vote getter 2 or 3 times. Its between Phil and Haley, but I see Phil going home, and it won't be soon enough for me.
American Idol sucks. I only watched to see Antonella and now I like to take a quick glance at Haley but don't pay attention to the rest of it.
The show last night was awful.
Latin music was a horrible category choice given the contestants- none of them could really pull it off.
I didn't care for Lakisha or the Justin Timberlake kid ( forgot his name). I think those two should be in the bottom two.
Haley will likely be in the bottom three- she was aight. I do like that she seems a little more bold with her vocals... still has a long way to go.
I hope she makes it another week.
Sanjaya to quote Simon, " wasn't that bad". Of course if he were voted off ( I know, I know- yea right; keep dreaming) I wouldn't complain.
you can see better singers and hotter chix at most kareoke bars anywhere. you people who watch this must not have cable. Kids under 18 should not be allowed to watch this or parents should be arested.

08. Phil - Maria,Maria is a good song but Phil's voice was too soft.
07. Chris - I think he stumbled on some of the words, not good.
06. Haley - This was the week for her to step up and she blew it! With so much talk about her skimpy outfits, she should've worn something conservative so the people could pay attention to her voice. I think she should've chosen a Selena ballad like "Dreaming of You". She probably would've surprised alot of people if she would've sang in spanish!
05. Jordin - She did good but nothing great. Bad choice of song!
04. Lakisha - I think she did good, maybe not her best performance but she did get away from her comfort zone.
03. Sanjaya - I think just the fact that he sang the song in spanish says alot. If he doesn't know spanish that means he took time to learn the words. I thought he did good. His best by far!
02. Blake - I hated to put him this high but hey, he did a great job! He didn't put any crappy sound fx in there. Kept it true to the song! ( Hopefully this will be the last time I rate him this high.
01. Melinda - Even in the latin genre she did great! She's proving that she can sing anything. Many people will think she got away with singing a latin tune, but what people don't know is that AI has a list of songs that the contestants chose from. Songs are from any era!! So Melinda DID stay within the rules.

IMO the show wasn't awful but the thing I found amusing was that some of them picked songs that had to have that latin beat. I guess to them that what latin is. Lakisha, Jordin, and Haley all picked upbeat songs that IMO were hard to sing. I think Lakisha pulled it off, but I would've liked Haley to have picked a Selena song(slow one) to try and showcase her voice.
I was thinking during the show ... "Damn crackers! Is Gloria Estefan and Rob Thomas the closest they've ever heard of Latin music? WTF?"
You know, the one good thing about AI is if you hate one particular contestant you can, like, change the channel for 5 minutes...
No, she's not hispanic but I think singing a part of a song in spanish would've done wonders for her. Some of Selena's english songs have spanish phrases in them so Haley wouldn't have had to learn a whole song in spanish. Sanjaya seemed to surprise everyone by singing in spanish and he did good. I think if she would've chosen a song with some spanish lyrics, people would have recognized her effort and voice for a change!
BTW: She's Italian.
