So for the second half, what do we need to see? Continue the rebounds. On both ends. Continue to drive and be aggressive with the ball. Loved seeing Tony actually use his speed and quickness and I loved seeing Tim working Nene. Let's see more of that. Remaining good on transition D for the most part, continue that. They can be more aggressive on the defensive glass - they are ok, but there were plenty of times there was one Nugget and 2 or 3 (or once, 4) Spurs and the Nugget came up with the rebound. They need to box out and secure them.

At times they settled for poor jumpers. At times they were not finishing strong - they need to do better.

But if they simply continue - they got this .

TPark you're the ultimate hater on this board. Neutral my ass. You hate Manu, you hate Barry, you hate Beno. You don't even watch most of the games and just get your updates from gamecast. You never have any idea what the you're talking about.
dude take your manu goggles off and just accept Manu is not having a good game. He's been dissapearing, he's not even making his wide open jumpers AND he is not being as aggressive as he should be.

and guess what? I am wearing a Manu jersey right now. so stop defending ing Manu. He needs to step up

    Before that.

    Hes been unagressive again.

Shove the video up your ass attention .

Manu has been unagressive again, and unlike you ers who will suck him off every ing minute, I will ing call him on it.

Why don't you call out Tony for forcing up a no chance shot on one possession and then turning it over in the middle of 3 people the next?

A good portion of Manus minutes were with Tony and Tim on the bench. Little hard to score when the defense can key on you

Ginobili isn't being aggressive because he is not being given the opportunity to. Like Aggie said, all the plays have been run primarily for Duncan and Parker-and if I'm not mistaken, those guys aren't the only scorers on the team. Pop needs to give some more shot opportunities to Ginobili and other team members. The Spurs are at their best when they are passing it around and moving the ball to everyone.

For some reason, Oberton plays really well alongside Duncan. He moves well without the ball.
I agree. 'Berto is playing awesome tonight, Pop definitely needs to stick with him...perhaps even start him next time.

Tony Parker: 4 assists, 3 turnovers

    Manu: 3 assists, 0 turnovers.

Why doesn't that piece of Ginobili do something on offense? I guess Parker has to force all the stupid passes[/Tfart]

Yeah defend Beno head, please do me that favor.

Barry deserves his hate, and BTW, with him in there playing D, the Nuggets help go on that run. Brilliance

They cannot afford to blow leads. They were up by 15 with just over a minute to go, only to blow it and only lead by 8. They need to make a freakin' statement. Why sit Duncan out. He's not in foul trouble. I hate when they do that...

TPark expects Manu to score even when he doesn't touch the ball. I guess next time he should just slug Parker in the face, steal the ball from him, dribblie it through three people in the lane and dunk it on Camby.

Unaggressive? Is he supposed to walk up to Parker and say give me the in ball? Is he supposed to go over to Popovich and say how about calling some in plays for me? How about a screen? How about you move me around in the offense? A back cut...anything. Right now they're just sticking him at the three point line.

10 people tell T Park he's wrong and point out why, but he picks the one who agrees with him.

People only listen to what they want to hear.

Manu has not been great nor has he been awful, and the game is not over. He isn't forcing anything, which is good. Wait for the 4th when people are tired. I have a feeling Supermanu might come out...

BTW - I think Karl has specifically targetted Manu as the guy he wants to shut down

Some of you guys are idiots. Manu's doing fine. He's probably not getting plays called, and we're running through Tony more to make Iverson work, according to Charles. And Timmy, because well, he's responsible for our 15 point lead..

Manu's looking to assist so far. He potentially got his teammates five or six great looks with his drives, dumbasses.

Look for Pop to call more plays for Manu in the second half.

As for his jumpers. He's only taken four shots so far. And one of them was a last second three, and the other was a layup, put back by Horry.

He's taken two actual jumpshots. One went in the other didn't.

Attention ? I'm not the one who pulled a vagina monologue and quit the forum for a year only to come back the next day.

If you think Pop is doing a good job of utilizing Manu's skill set on offense, I really don't know what to say to you.

Is it that lost on you that Manu has as many assists as Parker but zero turnovers (to Tony's three) in five less minutes of play?

Yeah, Manu sure is sucking out there, if only we had more frenchmen shooting the ball more than anyone else on the team and cancelling out every one of their assists with a turnover, then we might be good.

Pop must be pretty pissed on what happened the last seconds of the first half.
