was checking out some of the early SXSW schedule and looks like tons of hip hop acts rolling through town this year. a few I found performing just on the first day of the music festival (3/17) include: murs/ buckshot/ 9th wonder/ gza/ blue scholars/ smif N wessun/ solillaquists of sound and for you H-town fans, Chamillionaire with Paul Wall.

Chamillionaire's new mixtape for his new series dropped last week called Major Pain and it was supposed to have original beats by Universal records wouldn't let him do it so he releases his lyrics over old tracks which made it a bit of a disappointment
Jay Electronica is growing on me and apparently hes releasing an album with Mos Def so what's not to like
So I got to catch Lupe Fiasco live in concert tonight all the way here in Western Australia.
Absolutely brilliant. His show is pretty damn unique and his MC skills live are immaculate. One of the best shows I've ever been too.
He did a few cuts off of his upcoming album and they were all impressive too.
