Well at least we can't blame Manu this time. I knew this was going happen, Memphis had nothing to lose on that last shot tied game Gay didn't even have time to think.
Both Conference leaders lose tonight.
Bruce Bowen -21
as long as phoenix loses tonight, we're still #1 in the west despite our crappy play as of late.
I'd love for us to catch up to the celts so we can have HCA throughout the playoffs but I'll worry about that come March.
What a game... at least we almost came all the way back. I thought for sure once Manu dunked it that we had it. It's the Spurs fault for playing like for 3 quarters.

Well this sucks, but thank God its December.
If there is any silver lining in this loss it's that Manu might just be getting his mojo back.
I know the hate will be on Bonner strong this week, and maybe it should, but I'd rather he be tested now than in the playoffs.
If he is any good he will wipe the blood off his nose and get back up.
How many fast break points did we have? Man I'm probably making excuses here but we need Tony. Manu is just looking tired at times.
If the Spurs were in the East and the Celtics were in the West, we'd most definitely have HCA. But that ain't the case. We're going to have to beat them on their court at least once in the Finals. We will. Book it.
For 12 minutes. Too bad there are 48 in a game. Spurs on extended Christmas vacation right now.
looking over the standings we have the same record as detroit now
dallas, who everyone has been ting on all year, will only be ONE game behind if they beat phoenix
WE MUST NOT LOSE THE DECEMBER CHAMPIONSHIP
That rug really ties the room together.
optimism...its faaaaaantastic
Udoka letting his offense run loose all over timvp's rug.
Tim knew Gay wasn't going to drive, he should have been in his grill rather than hanging back.
He was in his grill.
It really tied the room together

His hand was right in Gay's face... the guy just made a great shot... what can you do?
Memphis threw some really bad passes in the 4th quarter that were picked off so you could say they really helped get us back into it. I'd say 50% was the Spurs fighting back and the other 50% Memphis threw some bad turnovers. Personally I don't consider it that great of a comeback. We kinda got lucky to get back into it considering some stupid ill advised three point attempts late in the 4th when we should have attacked the basket and/or pounded it into Tim. If this game was against a decent team I wouldn't be as mad, but against a crap Memphis team I really don't like it at all.
Man you can tell Pop is ing pissed... I think he would still be pissed even if we had ended up winning.
Tim had the great game the other night, so I was kinda expecting more from him tonight against a pretty ty Memphis team.
