One of the main reasons is obvious. Begins with a T and rhymes with baloney.

If you think offense lost you this game then you're blind lol. The Spurs had leads down the stretch. They just couldn't stop the Sonics and it was because of dumb defense.
Popovich logic = Hey, let's double-team the ball 30 feet from the rim and leave proven jumpshooter Kurt Thomas wide open to drill an 18 footer. The very next time down the floor...hey, that defense worked so great last time let's double-team and leave Thomas open AGAIN so he can drill that 18 footer one more time. Finley, do you have Durant? No man, you have him. Uhhhh...I don't think so...where is he?
I totally agree. If we're going to lose, we might as well let some of the youngsters get some valuable experience.
Well, I'm not sure what to say.
I couldn't watch the game tonight, but I just checked the final.
I can't wait to read the game recap to see what happened.![]()
I called this loss..look at last games message board.
So what happens now? Does Pop really blow a gasket and go off on everyone not named Tim and Manu? Or do Manu and Tim have a come to Jesus meetin with the team and tell them to get their heads out of their butts and start playing like champions instead of high schoolers?
This team is just so pathetic right now - back at the end of November who would've thought that we would struggle mightily against both Miami and Seattle - teams with 14 game losing streaks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sad, sad, pathetic game. Next...
they should burn the city of Seattle down, they cant do better than this
What do you want, for him to be a perfect player? You haven't noticed that he was the only reason the game was even winnable? You didn't notice how he fed guys for wide open shots the whole damn game only to get brick after brick after brick?
You're right dude. If only Manu could average 50 and 20 a night, we'd never lose.
Parker is flying back to SA tonight. Not going to happen.
The Spurs are absolutely dependent upon having Duncan, Parker, and Ginobili all healthy. Take away any one of the three, and the Spurs are not a le contender.
With Parker out, the Spurs will lose ALL 9 of their Rodeo games...BOOK IT!
Now I remember why I didn't bother watching the Spurs until March last year...they suck in January!
Here's to SPAM...it can't come soon enough...
All I've got left to say is WHEN THE Freak IS DAMON STOUDAMIRE COMING. Roll out the red carpet for him, get the freaking limo's fueled up, it's time to pick up a mighty mouse. Sheit after seeing this game Damon Stoudmire might completely change his mind and say F THAT!.
you are all so pathetic
Sounds to me like you're the one thinking Manu is averaging 50 and 20
Finley only played 10 minutes in the first half, sat the entire 3rd, and then played the entire 4th. I don't understand that.
He was playing decent defense but he's really out of the last couple games.
okay i get it
2 missed free throws in a game that comes down to the last possession are not important
manu homers, YOU GUYS WIN.
Yeah, there's a guy who never misses clutch FTs.![]()
I could beat Finley and Vaughn 2 on 1.
I didn't watch the game, but what I want to know is how do Delonte West, Earl Watson, and Jeff Green shoot 0-for-16 from the field (if you add Ridnour, 1-for-22) and still beat the Spurs?
If there's one person you can count on to miss clutch free throws it's Tony Parker![]()
If Manu played an average for him game tonight, they'd have lost by 15
Seriously mate, WHAT THE ?
Manu played his heart out tonight. WTF do you want him to do?
jesus, you ARE that stupid...
QUICK!! someone fluent in stupid, please try to knock some sense into that piece of adamantium he calls his skull!
That's such a bull POV? You got some resentment issues, just because of innocuous homers, you put the incentive on yourself to post "Anti-Manu" posts, just to rile up their fans, because you disapprove of their fanboyism on a forum?
And besides, nitpicking on the free throws isn't objective criticism given the development of this PARTICULAR GAME.
If you're going to go on about three free throws which he negated with that clutch three, you might as well ignore a bilion other decisive moments ( the bench scrubs for missing 8-straight shots in the beginning of the fourth)
The only time you could complain about the FT's is if Manu DIDN'T hit the three. It's like crucifying the guy who was one of the two players who put you in the position to win the game in the first place.
the sonics are tough....sure they are. Spurs s fans are the worst in the nba.
