Is it regular jack or colby-jack?
I never count him out, I knew he got rebounds to make up for his offensive woes, but then he started doing everything in the second half
Is it regular jack or colby-jack?
Boston v Denver is worth watching.
yikes bonner.

Elson trying to make his case during garbage time
Does colby-jack have flavour?
I dunno - I far prefer aged tasty cheddar, or good swiss.
WHy is Bonner garbage? He should be making those.
Geez...man, hit a shot! 0-3 for Bonner.
Great game from Ime. Are the Bobcats that bad or are those Bruce, Ime, Tim lineups really locking down on defense? What do you guys think?
Cojack definitely does. It's delicious. I'm not real big on cheddar, unless it's white cheddar (lulz, cheese racism), but I *LOVE* swiss and provolone.
Nuggets announcers are HUGE homers though - total bags.
Aged cheddar has that strong, dusty tang... Swiss, mmmmmm...
Geez, we gave $3 million to our 12th man. That completely sucks. We give our worst player, who should never regularly see the court, $3 million. That's amazing to me. And we get to pay him again next year, more than twice what any other team would have paid him.
Last time I tried an aged cheddar was absolutely orgasmically delicious. It was an Australian aged white cheddar.
The Bobcats are terrible. They have 19 wins, but would have about 8-9 in the West. They have some decent players, but no star, no guiding philosophy, no iden y, little cohesion, their draft picks have been lousy, and their players aren't improving any more.
$3mil is nothing for an NBA player. At the time Bonner was signed it was a good contract, and with more PT next year I think he'll be a much better player.
$3 million ain't bad as an average, but we're not talking averages. We're not even talking an average player, we're talking below average. We're also talking Spurs luxury tax. Why blow so much money on such a painfully inadequate player? Especially when it impacts flexibility in signing other players down the line.
How do you expect him to be in any way effective next year when he's already had a year and a half under his belt and is this bad? Do you really think Horry's blocking his PT? Pop would love nothing more than him soaking up Horry's minutes right about now.
BONNER SUCKS.
$3 mil for a big who can shoot the 3 is not bad. It's actually $2.7 mil this season. That's roughly half of the MLE. Just 2 more seasons past this one so it's not like the contract really poses a problem for the Spurs.
Average salary is the MLE, which is 5.4mil or so.
Bonner 3 years 9 mil is a reasonable contract. I'm pretty sure he'll be useful next year.
No way Pop would play bonner over Horry - he trusts vets, and in that case why did he bring back Horry at all. He's definitely lost faith in Bonner this year, but Horry would be taking these minutes in an effort to get ready for the playoffs anyway.
And his salary last season was $2 mil.
The Spurs don't really have any bad contracts. I mean, if you think Bonner's is the worst, well, that's a contract at half of the MLE for 2 seasons past this one.
Based on current worth relative to contract, I think Barry's salary is the worst for this season ($5.5 mil), but this is the final season. After that, maybe it's tied between Elson ($3 mil) and Bonner, but both of those guys are bigs and it's still a big man's league. No Spur really has an egregious deal.
Regardless of pie-in-the-sky thinking, do you really want to be paying your 12th man $3 million? Seriously? Do you seriously think this summer the Spurs won't be trying to convince Horry to play another season, because Bonner can't cut it?
You're being very Pollyanna with the Bonner situation, and I respect taking a player's back, but he's bad. The contract was bad. Too many years, too much money, when it was apparent he's nothing more than a crowd favorite guy deep on the bench.
That was a tight play
Boston's delivers on entertainment;I don't want Denver to be the first to beat the Celtics.
