manu had 2 fouls in the first quarter I believe
waaaaah waaaah waaaaah. Does it somehow hurt you that Ginobili is getting props for saving this game? Christ, stop acting like a little .
manu had 2 fouls in the first quarter I believe
Just your typical day at SpursTalk.![]()
Seriously, are you a re ?
I agree... ducks has the art of creating Tony/Manu discusions near to perfection.![]()
I liked the minutes tonight
TP 35
Manu 33
TD 33
I think we can do a good job in NJ tomorrow
manu and duncan need to bring it tomorrow
tp is going to struggle against harris
TD and TP are going to have bad games.![]()
Ducks needs to shut the up, he's always starting between Gino and Parker.
Anyway, I'm glad Parker had a good offensive showing. Hopefully he's one step closer to being back to normal. Ginobili with another nice game, no surprise there. We all would have killed for this '04 and earlier, when a Duncan bad game = an automatic blowout loss.
In other news,
Phoenix is slipping![]()
Good game, Parker and Gino played great![]()
Duncan was terrible
Parker great
Manu was Manu
Udoka was good
Finley decent
Oberto Decent
Spurs W
move on to NJ.
Not a quick flight either
I hope this is where Pop starts scaling back Manu's minutes to around 30 a game. Even SuperManu needs his rest.
I think TP is gonna explode tomorrow, i think he'll be motivated by all the talk about Harris being a Parker stopper. Tony really is a bit y and these kinds of things matter to him, that's why he plays so well against Kidd.
you stupid idiot, you are in the wrong forum this is for BASKETBALL NOT SOCCER YOU DUMB
btw I didn't say thank you for pointing that out to me in your earlier post Kori. You've seen the Spurs a lot more than I have and if you say his hand position is back to his original form then that is at least correctable. Do you agree with me though when I say I think he needs to take a little more time on each shot?
I get so mad because I think free throws are easy, but I guess if I were put under the same pressure as Parker is I might shoot something like 30% so I shouldn't blast him like that as it is unfair.

Yeah, what NRHECTOR said!
Oh yeah, definitely. When he rushes, he misses even when he has good form.
great game, well...sorta, we did win. Timmy wa spretty pissed with the officiatiing thoughout the game, but he kept his head. Even on that last play you could see Timmy was super frustrated about the non call with the shove to his back TWICE, but because he keeps his head, he prevails.
On tony's shooting, Ive been a little worried since he came back due to his outside shotting was horrible, but tonight he was hitting his outside jumper fairly well, which confused me when he went to the line and dropped bricks. You would think if your hitting your outside shots, you would do better at the freethrow line. Oh well, Ill forgive and forget....Well, Ill forget after i see him make 5-6 in a row
Does it concerrn anyone the amount of 3's were taking. Seems like were attempting over 20 a game and thats not good for out team fg%. Anyone else want to see some more midrange shots when they have to kick it out. just because we kick it out of the blocks doesnt mean it has to be a 3 point attempt.
BTW,,,,when was the last time the Spurs blew a team out of the water and never looked back>?? Scary when u really have to think hard about it. Im hoping were playing down to the weaker teams, but worry were just getting by.
thoughts on any of this???
BTW KORI, you do a great job of keeping these people in line. the Signatures was a big problrm too, but seems alot better now.
Hey, did anyone help notice how tempered duncan was, may be cuz of parker who could get him the ball on the pick & roll where timmy was wide open. I know timmy is one of the people that dont like to say much but tony took some bad shots at the end where he could have dished the ball over to timmy..
Timmy keeps his head, frustrated, but he keeps his head
But i am pretty sure if he wasnt a team player, he would have said something to tony, to be honest tony is bit of a hog....
Tim was mad at the refs not at Tony.
I hear you. I know that these close games "build character" but I'd love for them to have some games where they step on the opponents' throat from start to finish.
