celtics = drama queens
Lakers 32-77
Boston 32-76
LAL basically got outplayed the entire 2nd half. The two straight 3's from Pierce was the turning point IMHO, all caused by lazy defense from Kobe. He really had about as bad a game as you can have on both ends of the floor. That being said, I don't count Kobe out ever.
High praise coming from Laker Fan.
well earned win...
lots of drama....academy award winning.
didn't watch. Heard Boston won.
Hooray... or something.
It's a bit strange how this game mirrored the previous series with DET. In that game DET was hanging in there the whole way through until the 4th when the Celtics pulled away and won by I believe 10 or so points. They came back in Game 2 and played a very spirited and high energy game and stole one on the road.
I expect LAL to come out in a similar fashion and steal Game 2.

Davis' comeback was in a first round game, against a team that had already given up. Davis coming back provided zero emotional boost because the Warriors were gonna kick the Mavs ass regardless of whether he came back or not. Comparing it to Willis Reed might be the single dumbest thing I've ever read on this forum.
we won in 2007, when was the last time the lakers won?
an NBA conspiracy thread has been dug up again?
why?
there's a great article over at 82games.com written by the founder who himself did a play by play analysis of the Sacramento/LA Lakers WCF game 6 that Donaghy claimed was one that the NBA pushed the refs to help the Lakers win.
I recommend that anyone who still believes in conspiracies by Stern and the NBA front office reads it.
