    Police Unions protect bad actors and the buddy system continues.

    I think the public also disagrees on what they want police to actually do. Psychologists, repair broken homes during gun fights, kill people who take things, or merely arrest them peacefully and bring it to court... So many critical jobs that come suddenly with a ton of time with really minor stuff... split second decisions and boredom. tough job.
