Goddamn I hate the NCAA and it's transfer rules.

Goddamn I hate the NCAA and it's transfer rules.
I met Suddes before at an event and spoke with him at length and frankly am surprised with all the outpouring of support. Thought he was kind of a doofus. But hey, that's just me.
Good news. The lack of DTs recently is a huge concern.
From FB Alex De La Torre:
@ADLT36
Met Coach Moorer earlier. Needless to say, I'm excited to endure a lot of pain.
Chip Brown @ChipBrownOB
If the name I'm hearing for #Texas' offensive coordinator turns out to be the guy, #Longhorns would be getting a good one.
wow, chip brown covering his ass with extremely vague reports
If you even want to call that tweet reporting.
Now, now. He correctly reported something awhile ago.
Texas' potential RBs coach, Kenny Carter, interviewed for the UMass head coaching vacancy today:

Name of the game is to always carefully word your tweets or predictions, but Chip did elaborate on OBs that the name he's hearing is Herman from Ohio State.
Cedric Golden @CedGolden
Texas defensive end Cedric Reed is returning to Texas for his senior season, according to a source with knowledge of the situation
Nice. At least we know we have Reed and Brown on the DL for next year. That's a good start.
i understand that but 1) that's the sort of tweet anyone could have sent, so without any clarification it lacked any substance and 2) being that chip has been so wrong so often it just begs for commentary
@BFeldmanCBS
No truth to rumors about #OhioState OC Tom Herman leaving for #Texas.
Oh, I'm agreeing with you. It was like that one tweet that Burton had the night of the banquet and it sent the entire fanbase into a frenzy. Basically said, "Mack will continue to coach UT" but didn't mention anything about timeline. These guys know how to carefully construct their statements.
OrangeBloods saying Strong has spoken with Clemson offensive coordinator, Chad Morris, the past couple of days and he's a hot name right now. The report mentioned it will cost UT $5.2 million + a million dollar salary to get him to make the move. Morris' name is being mentioned for the Vanderbilt head coaching vacancy right now.
We will see how serious they are about bringing in a legit OC. Personally, I don't see them paying the buyout even though they could pretty easily.
That buyout is more than most head coaches.
Per OrangeBloods, Texas has offered 2015 OL George Brown, Jr. of Cincinnati, OH.
His father is saying a visit to Austin is now a priority and will be planned soon.

He looked in slow motion against Oregon. He better return and improve.
Cedric and Shiro are going to be lethal in the Texas defense next year. Add to that Dez Jackson and Malcolm Brown and Texas will have one of the best front 4 in college football.
