After losing a referendum on a state cons utional amendment on abortion, the Ohio GOP wants to make judicial rulings on it impeachable. Making it basically illegal for judges to interpret or enforce their own state's cons ution.
I mean, the same court can deem this potential law uncons utional due to separation of powers. Other than being dumb, it's also moot.
One would think so, but we live in interesting times. Ohio ignored seven state supreme court rulings to repair illegal electoral maps, what's to prevent them from ignoring them this time?
