Raging hormones
translation
So tell me Avante, who were the best post 1970's wrestlers? Being only 15 I haven't a clue. Those no longer wrestling.
No problem sonny, that would be...
"Superstar" Billy Graham
Dory and Terry Funk
Jack Brisco
Brusier Brody
Dusty "American Dream" Rhodes
Hulk Hogan
Bob Backland
Stan "Lariat" Hansen
Lex Luger
Nikita Koloff
Shawn Michael
Bret "Hitman" Hart
Goldberg
The Rock
Stonecold Steve Austin
Edge
Agree with like 75% of that.
Who cares if you agree with none of that, it's very obvious you don't know .

lol sid...dude needs to shed the stomache and be more NASTY
good at what ?
Besides being a powerful brawler...His short stature and low center of gravity usually offered him the ability to overpower his opponents with power moves...
and yes he was good at wrestling when it wasn't blatantly as scripted and fake as it is today
@ VBM (Assuming you follow this company more frequently than any of us on this site)... if you stumble on this thread:
What the is going on in today's WWE and what are they trying to do with their angles?
I watched a bit of Raw and it was just awful. Such a shame how the WWE has fallen.
Dude, it's been fake and scripted longggggggggggggggggggggg before the WWWF existed.
If you recall (you don't) the story goes Buddy Rogers beat Antonio Rocca in a tournament to win the first ever WWWF World Championship. Total bull , there was never any tournament, Rogers was simply given the belt.
I had no idea that wrestling at one point wasn't scripted and fake tbh.
wrestling is cool only when you're 10.
Not true, now it's the politics involved.
Yeah
Wrestling is cool at that age, it sucks when one undergoes puberty imho
So is kool aid, baseball cards and cartoons, yet I enjoy all of those things as well.
When you know/get into the history of it and understand the business it's actually very interestings, these rasslers do have some pretty interesting stories. As an adult well aware of what it is, very entertaining. Not unlike a movie or a TV show, if you're gonna..."those aren't real bullets"...sure it's going to suck.
I still watch Raw more often than not, and I'll stream a PPV here or there when possible.
WWE has been locked into hooking the youngins ever since Rock/Stone Cold moved on. It's the Hogan philosophy with John Cena playing the new "each your vitamins, say your prayers, I'm a fake marine" schtick-ster. I will give WWE props for beginning to showcase the talent that doesn't look completely roided out (CM Punk, Daniel Bryan, Dolph Ziggler (unfortunate name, tbh)). The importance of mic skills was showcased during the "Summer of Punk" last year, and Punk and Bryan are two of the best right now.
With that said, I think the writers are so worried about crossing Vinnie Mac or telling him "No!" that their angles sometimes just crash and burn. Whatever WWE fans are left simply hope that one out of every 20 angles gets a chance to run its course. > The crazy AJ Lee angle for example.
