Everybody laughing at Canada's taxes, yet it is one of the countries with the less % of poverty in the World. I guess Socialism isn't the root of all evil, tbh.
He may be going to LA but not the fakers bro get over it![]()

Yeah, all NBA players want an even economic playing field where their money is used to justify stupid comments like the one you just made.
OP will be knob slobbering #2 in a few months when he signs with the Clippers.
I was never convinced he was going anywhere, tbh.
And? Getting taxed on ~60% of your income should be a deal breakerPERIOD. And you have to factor in David Dennison's Tax scam (designed to help the truly wealthy corrupt whiteys in the country).
NBA players in American cities talking bout Kiwi if he stays:

In hindsight Spurs probably traded Kawhi to early, they should have waited till the season starts to see if he would play. If he played and still wanted out they could have traded him by the NBA trade deadline and got better offers. Though it's easy to sit back and say this without knowing what really took place behind the scenes. Only RC and Pop know it and if they traded a player this good in July it must have been pretty ugly behind the scenes. Spurs liked the deal they got for Kawhi but I wouldn't have traded Green to Toronto. Just Kawhi and Mills. If he stay with Raps they will have won the trade, it remains to be scene who got the better end of the deal. Obviously if he leaves for an LA team Spurs did themselves a favor by trading him. If he stays with Raps I wonder if Spurs traded him to early and could have worked things out. Oh well, he's gone for good.
Good post. LkrFan is giddy that Pop traded away their franchise player for DeFrozen. That's worse than trading Shaq for Lamar Odumb. At least DeFrozen made all star teams. Odumb? Not so much.![]()
Trump has nothing to do with the highest income tax in nation. He also has lowered the federal tax rates as well.
The tax would rate overall would be about the same. The biggest advantage is LA has a bigger market for endorsements and a better place to build a brand. But Kiwi doesnt endorse himself so it's hard to figure out his decision
We've already been over that Cali's tax situation isn't any better. If money is the decision-maker it'll come down to endorsements; LA is a huge market but being the face of an entire country's sports environment would surpass it. However, for Nephew it'll prolly be about comfort and he's been vocal about how much he hates Toronto's weather.
Endorsements are a huge factor, but so is being around Uncle Dennis's family![]()
Clipps are a real threat, but Bron is out there recruiting hard. Hopefully he closes the deal![]()
I of course want Lakers to try and recruit Kawhi (Who wouldn't?)
But im almost to the point where I just want us to clean house and though i have nothing aginst bron if he wants a trade to a contender might grant it.
Maybe there is afurther bottom we need to hit (God help us) before we can truly fix things.
I Also would love the Zion pick because this place and tyeh internet wil be flooded with conspiracy theorists but that also is a quick fix not a long term one.
I guess what Im saying its time to try and build a culture first and a team and stop star chasing and looking for splashy moves.
We seriously wre chasing dwight, LMA carmelo and even greg monroe liek some thirsty thot trying to have one of aubrey graham's babies
None of those guys would solve our problems because even Lebron couldn't.
A healthy Kawhi is legit though so i get it.
Time for us to act like somebody.
IF bron pulls it off awesome.
if not its time for true Laker fans to hold this franchise accountable. that protest should just be a start.
Forget focusing on les we need to focus on rebuilding our infrastrutire from the top (team prez to scouting)
I'll take peak Odom over peak DeRozan tbh.
His tax law is a big you to blue states that already subsidized his red states enough.
KL just bought an estate about 20 minutes from Kobe Bryant's.
KL grew up a Kobe fan/Lakers fan.
KL requested a trade to the Lakers.
He may very well stay in T.O. - he may also bolt for the Clippers/Nets/Knicks or whoever.
But if you think the Lakers aren't a serious contender for him, you're just fooling yourselves.
As long we have a damn 1% chance to get kawahi Im all in for dude. Talent like that you do whatever it takes to sign him. But ballmer will offer uncle some cash on the side and he will be a clipper lol. I don’t blame him
You cray cray. He was only consistently good vs the Suns or before that when he was on the Heat (in the weakass East).
It wasn't until we "traded for" MVPau that he halfway got his head out of his ass (Pau took his spot, he pouted his way to the bench, then eventually won 6MOY).
You'd want him over DD? I beg to differ. Don't hold it against DD that he is NOT Kiwi. But to each his own I guess.
This. David Dennison and his supporters tbh![]()
I've been picturing conspiracy theorists sitting around the past few weeks, already assembling the theories before Zion even goes anywhere...
Not only that, LBJ has flown to Philly to meet with him and I'm sure is in constant comms. Gonna be interesting if he comes. Hope so!
here we go again with Lakerfan hyping themselves up thinking they're gonna land a marquee free agent only to end up with the likes of FatMelo...
