I don't hate em but there's no reason to ever root for em
Bros from Texas dislike the Seminoles?
What's the connection
I don't hate em but there's no reason to ever root for em
Spread is currently 35 for Texas over Rice tomorrow.
Prediction: Gonna be much closer. Rooting for the Longhorns, but this is a Sarkisian team. Offensive line is going to have first-game troubles up the middle. Inexperienced running game will be mediocre between the tackles. Texas receivers are studs, but Ewers will have trouble putting the ball in their hands consistently, not helped by the O-line and RB shortcomings.
Meanwhile, JT Daniels will have a big game for Rice, making big plays vs. an overconfident Texas defense that will make tackling and assignment mistakes. Texas defense will settle down in the 2nd half. Texas will eventually pull away, but bring big question marks into the Alabama game.
Texas 35, Rice 17.
Have not seen anyone call the game that close, but that feels about right for a Sarkisian opener.
My bro and sis went to UF
I hang around there enough to see the rivalry
49-10 horns
Agree.
But even though I think Sark's team will come out soft, expect Rice to roll over, and get spooked when they do the opposite -- the fans won't, even in this ridiculous heat. I feel for the ones on the stadium's sunny side in the 2nd half though. They'll at least have a compe ive game to watch before Texas pulls away.
Sorry it’s September but you get my drift
Haha understood.
FSU vs Miami tends to flip every season with close finishes.
FSU vs UF one goes on a 3+ winning streak with blow outs
Not too fond of Miami either
But I am going for FSU or Miami vs ou or Arkie
Miami fans tend to most misbehave. On the other hand they are just a rich City School. Their football success is historically impressive
It’s only stupid for the fans who go to it. The Tv executives love it I’m sure.
Colorado covers the 20 point spread And wins
From National le Game to losing opening week to a bunch of transfers
TCUs QB looks mediocre. Two red zone INTs killed them.
Sanders kid at QB looked every bit of a Heisman contender today.
ESPN has their Saturday night news story already
The horns passing game looks incredibly average for now having a second year with Ewers and Sark. They should be lighting these guys up.
I put the over/under at 3.5 years before Patterson takes over as head coach
Patterson isn't with the team anymore, and they looked way better coming out after the half.
K, +/- 3.5 years before Sark is fired.
Ewers 19-30 overall for 260 against Rice. Not bad but nothing spectacular.
The defense looks bad ass. Running game looks great as usual. From what I saw today though, I don't trust Ewers in the 4 quarter of a tight game. He'll be a first or second round draft pick but today his long ball was not good and his ability to escape defenders was non existent. Should have won this game 66-10
I had more of an issue with the o line in the first half than ewers, but his deep ball was indeed off. I am not sure if they made a rotation adjustment but the o line looked way better in the second imo
Texas State 7 Baylor 3
5000-1 was the pregame odds.
Did not see how much 1Q was.
Can anyone tell us what Texas State beating Baylor in the 1st Q paid?
14-6
Yeah that O Line missed a lot of assignments early on for sure
