I am a fan.
always thought he sucked, but he's been ok so far
Cedi has what the team mostly lacks -- veteran savvy. He's seen every situation already. He knows how to produce when things are going badly.
You're replying to a two week old post, scro.
Perfect bench player. His toughness and defense has impressed me so far. Crazy how he was just dumped to us.
So same weakness two weeks later.
Talking with Cavs fans, he was a favorite with them, but they badly needed a starting volume three-point shooter. Osman may be better suited to a toolsy bench role, and his shooting can be wildly hot and cold. For us, he's a great fit.
To me, getting a needed vet bench piece AND a second round pick for using cap space to help two other teams make a trade in another conference is a fantastic bit of business.
He’s got some of Manu’s flair…
Cedi looks like he has played with this group for 2 years already. Quite impressive.
Maybe I’m off base, but Cedi looks exactly the archetype of what Toronto hopes Grady will become (though with a higher ceiling). Glad he’s on our team, and I can see why the FO has seemingly been enamored with him for awhile.
the bar defensively is doug mcdermott and offensively he takes open shots when the ball comes to him and hits them with consistency
Obviously we’re going to love him when his 3pt shot is this hot. But he seems to be doing enough of the other stuff as well. He’s historically an ok shooter
Contributed a lot to the win.
Has made McDermott less needed. That's a win. No offense to the McDermott family, et cetera.
Too early to make a broad sweeping statement after Pre season and two games, but I'm going to anyways
This team just might be a good fit. He's not a star, but seems to fit perfectly in his role.
I've often wondered about certain players if they had landed in a certain spot they would have had a better career
the magic works the other way around as well. I don't think Murray moving to another team is helping his career.
Really good surprise with this guy.
When landing to SA he said his game would flourish under Pop, he was right. Hopefully he keeps it that way !
No defense from the McDermott family.
shotting lights out...wonder how long he can keep that up
Dude makes just $6.5 million this year which feels a bit wild.
His shooting will come back to earth a bit but he does enough other things well that he’ll continue to be useful veteran leadership for a young team.
Glad we got him
I'd take it.
Best part about Cedi is his decision making, seems like he never has a bonehead play.
could definitely see the Spurs resign him with how well he's playing
