if he doesnt exceed benos first year stats = fukn bust
Mason and Hill are largely the same player in that some claim they can play point in spurts. Mason has a good size advantage but Hill managed to get some stats other than scoring, at least in a crummy IUPUI league.
Hill is getting wildly overrated. I hope he does well, but more likely he gets stuck on the bench. He's not ready for this step yet, may be good in a couple years, but even he's a bit mystified why he got selected so early.

5,3 pts.

Assuming we don't resign Finley (because we have just traded for Mason), then Pop and FO are betting the ranch on largely untested player at guard (Mason) and rookie (Hill).
Similarly, we're apparently going with Ian, Bonner and maybe Gist on the front line as backups even if Thomas comes back.
This is so unlike Pop I'm wondering if they see the next season as a losing proposition in any event and have decided to bite the bullet to bring in some youth at the risk of having a down year. And didn't we trade away our 1st for next year's draft?
rather then read the next page, this is what i was thinking...and i might add.....it aint easy being cheesy...not even as a backup...its kinda hard to judge someone ya dont know anything about on an nba court...
