Thanks all for the great suggestions I have been to SA one other time down to the riverwalk pretty cool yet kind of dirty. The Alamo didn't look like it was worth saving IMO what a shack. I can't wait to have some kick ass Texas BBQ.

You should probably go eat at the Tower of the Americas...the food sucks but it's still pretty cool to go up there.
It was way cooler when you spent 65% of the time looking down at the Victoria Courts housing project from the Tower.

People will tell you you need to eat at Mi Tierras but I personally think their food sucks ass.
    Their bakery is great though.

Second that. Even though it's owned by the Mexicans now.

And what's the deal with the other Bob's Smokehouses on Fredericksburg Road and on Seguin Road? Are they any relation to the original on Rigsby?
WTF? Is it the same? Do they still have that badass sausage?

Northeast side huh? Well if it's my part then Wetmore city limits is cool to hang out and have a few beers and play darts. My fave's are Baker street pub on wurzbach parkway and the infamous coco beach. I like hole in the wall places though.

All that's left is the Chapel, the Mexicans burned everything else down. They wouldn't dare burn down the chapel though

Schlitterbaun is about 30 minutes away
All are great places to go. If you and your family are up to it, I'd reccomend Schlitterbahn. It's about 30-45 mins North of the Loop 1604 and I35 interchange. Get there early and you'll find rides/stuff to do there for the entire day, I guarantee. Oh and it's been voted the #1 water park in the country several years running now if I'm not mistaken.

If you have kids, it is an absolute must you take them to Schlitterbaun.

I repeat, TAKE YOUR KIDS TO SCHLITTERBAUN.

There's also a Rudy's BBQ in New Branfuels.
