Let's see the republicans won with Bush, hmm... I don't think running as a liberal wins elections. McCains only chance is to expose Obama as the communist that he is.
Obama is no Kerry, and Kerry won.....

But this isn't 2000 and the time wouldn't have been right for Obama. Now is the the time. I'll be surprised if Obama wins. I just hear too much talk from too many people who simply won't vote for Obama 'cause the republican pundits and bloggers are putting so much false crap out there that people are buying into it. Still shocks me how so many still believe the muslim bs about Obama. Some just are too lazy to look up the facts for themselves.
Well, like I said in 2004, this country deserves what it gets from the leaders we elect. We've let the media turn election coverage into tabloid journalism. We no longer require discussions of issues, it's all about who's wearing what (Obama-no flag pin, McCain-$520 shoes), what endorsers are saying (Obama - Wright, Ludacris; McCain-Hagee), what spouses are doing (Obama - Mic e's "militancy"; McCain - Cindy's drug use), etc. This type of coverage is easy to digest and doesn't require much thought.

This year we have a campaign ad featuring pictures of Britney Spears and Paris Hilton. That's what it's come to.

I guess you could say they don't deserve a "Peabody" award.

McCain should run as McCain, that's my point. He's not basing his campaign on himself; rather, his campaign, thus far, has been about Obama. McCain doesn't have to do this. He is an impressive candidate. From his actions as a prisoner of war (refusing release until others were released) to his ability to reach across the aisle (McCain-Feingold, McCain-Kennedy), he has a good narrative. Instead, he's decided to engage in partisan hackery. I don't get it.

Does this mean Obama will now call Ludacris a typical black person?

There was a recent article in the local fishwrap where 15% of Americans couldn't consistently tell their right hand from their left hand - so I'm not surprised at all that 1-10 Americans still believes that Obama is a closed muslim....
Why even go there? We all know who the Dims depend on for the vote.

This election is solely determined on rather people want Obama and his policies or not. McCain really has nothing to do with it. Conservatives think McCain is a fool. They couldn't care less about their candidate when they see increased socialism staring down at their paychecks. The thought of Pelosi and Obama teamed up does not send chills up their legs like Hardballs over there.

Republicans/Conservatives/etc would vote for a monkey if it were up for election, as long as the other side does not win. In a two-party low compe ion, low accountability, etc etc bull system...that is reality.

That's becoming evident. Unfortunately for the left, this election should have been a referendum on Bush and instead, it's become a referendum on Obama.

That's the only thing the right has to question Obama on. Since he doesn't have much time in the pit, the only thing left to attack him on is his past, his words, etc.

    Is Britney suing McCain?

My inside Hollywood sources have hinted that Britney Spears is in discussions with her legal team about a possible lawsuit against John McCain for the unauthorized use of her photo in a recent political ad.

Expect to hear about this soon through the traditional media.

And why the he** are people jumping on McCain for this? The only idiot is Ludacris! The republicans could have spent millions in advertisements and not accomplished what Ludacris has.
