I don't really see how this vaults them into contender status. Mo Williams an upgrade? Sure. But they now don't have any semblance of a PG that can play defense, and someone who put up those #'s in MIL dominating the ball with questionable shot selection.

Good trade especially for the fact they didn't give up anything of value (if you don't count Joe Smith), but i'm not sold yet either.

The Bucks will be crap again this year. 3 legit superstars (or at least one and a 2 killer 2nd tier guys) and they suck.
I count zero legit SUPERstars on the Bucks.

    better offseason move:

Cavs getting Mo Williams for Damon Jones and a guy w/ bad knees

    or

    Pistons signing Kwame Brown
Why are you asking me this? And why are you using my quote about Chris Wilcox as if your post has anything to do with that?

To answer your question, it's not even close. Mo Williams for nothing is a very good trade for the Cavs.

Why are people from Ohio bags?

because wilcox has been one of OKC's big targets to get rid of and now that smith is there that makes him more likely to go
Uh, they're more likely to just waive Joe Smith than to just let Chris Wilcox go. Joe Smith sucks. Why would he make Wilcox more likely to go?

They might trade Wilcox because they don't think they can re-sign him next summer. But, it won't have anything to do with them acquiring Joe Smith.

    Good move Danny boy.

Still have Wally Z, Delonte and AV as trade bait for something at the deadline possibly.

    C'mon Cavs

Hmmmmm... how do you think this will affect Mo's stats? I have a feeling he'll score more and pass less, but I'm not sure.
