Wow, strong words from Manny!![]()
I'm conservative and I believe they should be able to marry.
Good for them.
(In my best Glenn Beck imi ation) "T Park, what does that even mean"?
Does it mean that you're a dyed-in-the-wool-republican, a moralist, anti-liberal, what?
I'm seriously interested in how you define the label of conservative that you put on yourself.
I should say fiscal conservative, low taxes, more benefits and more incentives for businesses.
Conservative in foreign policy.
Conservative in less government, more states rights, more free enterprise.
Im liberal on some issues, or "considered" liberal, with gay marriage.
I believe if your a consistent conservative in domestic issues such as less government involvement in life, then gay marriage, and allowing people to, if they are not infringing on the rights of others, to do as they please.
I like Glenn Beck, but I can't stand his misguided views on immigration and what not.
I also don't listen to him much anymore, hes gone from funny, informative but a real fun show, to takes himself wayyyy too serious and is a constant worry wart.
I'm sorry you turned my post into something the Taliban would have said. Its good to know where you stand, however.
Confession is good for the soul.
If you can show me where my position on this moral issue is inconsistent with that of Bible, then I'm open to change, if not, your weak slam is primarily aimed at God and Jesus Christ, then at me for wanting to follow their teachings.you turned my post into something the Taliban would have said.
I'm comfortable being under their umbrella.
I've made it perfectly clear where I stand on moral issues, so don't pretend as if it were some sort of revelation to you.Its good to know where you stand, however
So you don't get confused, other than coming back with some more weak smack, your response would be to show me where my position does not parallel that found in Scripture.
Followers and adherents of His teaching understand that sin is a device used to entrap God's creation in order to keep them from His presence in the afterworld. Our commission is to pass along, as best we can, the redemptive message given to us through Jesus Christ, a message that frees man from the captivity of sin.
Christ is full of compassionate for those bound and entrapped by sin. There is neither mockery nor condoning of sin. Neither amusement nor condemnation (we are condemned by freely choosing to reject His plan for our salvation).
Those presently unfamiliar with His teachings will find it difficult if not impossible to relate to His message.
"Come now, let us reason together, says The Lord: though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall become like wool." (Isaiah 1:18 RSV)
