Well here are some of Manu's highlights from the 2002 World Championships and at the 3:53 mark you can see Manu's right foot landing on Dirk's coming back down.

I've always wondered why they kept referring to the 2002 WC injury, when it was his right ankle that got injured. How about during his rookie year? Was it the left ankle that got injured?

Here's a scan posted a few months ago on Manu's forum of the 2002 WC injury.

It's also in this compilation at No.3:

In the 2nd 1, is it the left ankle? I couldn't tell for sure.

    Question for SpursTalk veterans:
Back in 2002, Ginobili reported to the Spurs after having injured his ankle in the summer playing for Argentina. Do you remember if it was the same ankle as the current injury?
Then the Spurs went on to win a le.

the proof that the problem was on the RIGHT ankle not like the FSPN's and everywhere else writers saying that he is been hobbled by his left ankle since... lame.. they should investigate more

I haven't heard anything. Last night they said the doctors were still looking at his ankle and analyzing it.

I'm ing tired of Spurs' coverage. There are no words on how serious his injury. It truly sucks.

Argentina`s injuries in the past years

1- 2002: Manu´s ankle vs Germany in Semis, The injury was on Nowitzki Foot.
2- 2004: Oberto´s Finger vs USA in Semis, Stephon Marbury broked his finger
3- 2008: Manu´s Ankle vs USA in Semis: The Injury was on Lebron´s Foot

Then, the injuries were with NBA players, and they could be produced in a Friendly game too, like Tony´s injuries in his National Team

    Sometimes the injuries coming ............
