Strange you of all people shuold post that. Rider was born and raised in Cali, East Bay to be exact, and played with the Lakers after a pot bust in Atlanta.

Unfortunately, he has no connection with Oklahoma nor is he or ever had been a resident of Oklahoma. In fact, he was recently arrested in LA if I remember correctly.

Yup Rider played in LA and quickly wore out his welcome, and yup he got caught in LA doing some degenerate stuff.

My point being is IF a guy like Rider plays for the "Outlaws" that would be funny as and the NBA would never have anything like that happen.

No, its photoshopped. I will say that there has been some buzz for sometime that Baron's will be the name; in fact I think it finished 2nd in the fan poll. Thunder seemed to have a negative reaction and some have said that the team leaked 'possibilities' early to guage a reaction before a final decision. The idea of the Barons (as in Oil Barons) has had some momentum in these parts, but who knows may be all smoke and mirrors. I have also heard that it is for sure Thunder and the colors are red, white & blue.

Additionally, if you were to google image OKC Thunder, you will see more references to Barons than you will Thunder.
