Colt is 6' 3" and the average height for quarterbacks in the NFL is 6'3". Height is the least of his worries.

Quick. Somebody tell Brett Favre 20 years ago that he's too small to make it in the NFL. Tony Romo, you're too small. Jake Delhomme, you're too small. Joe Montana, you're too ing small.

this isnt 20 yrs ago & tony romo is not a good comparison. by you or colt. romo is over-rated. Delhomme is average at best.

I know this is hard for you. They are NFL quarterbacks. They are considered small by you.

Colt is 6'3" 210 pounds. Romo is only 15 pounds heavier and an inch short, and he has been in NFL weight training for 5 years. Tom Brady is only an inch taller and 15 pounds heavier, again, 8 years of NFL weight training.

Colt is plenty big to play in the NFL

It still amazes me that the skinny redshirt freshman from Tuscola that took over after VY left is now considered NFL material. One does wonder how much having Major there helped Colt develop the way he has. But Applewhite's only been there less than a year. Colt will be one of the most beloved players in UT history by the time he's done - I heard yesterday he's committed to come back his senior year. (Jevan Snead didn't look too bad last week, either. Maybe he's smarter than all of us?) Who would have thought we'd ever hear that two years ago?

That said, VY may be the best QB in NCAA history and we were lucky to have him for as long as we did. And I'd take him again in a heartbeat. Anyone that's been a Texas fan longer than three years should know that.
