Robert Horry. Once one of the most talented forwards in basketball turned thug.....pathetic & a little sad really.....
When did he become a thug?
right about that moment when lil stevie hit the tables.![]()
Oh, when you hit a guy who flops, it makes you a thug. The Suns should be glad Horry did that. He did the one thing none of Nash's teammates could do: seal a win for the Suns.
Did you know that, by rule, if you initiate contact with a defender while trying to dribble between the defender and the sideline, it's an offensive foul? Interesting tidbit.
well, isn't that what suns fans say? hmm... are you suggesting by conjecture that horry is a suns by heart? witnesses on the danny ainge incident will find that hard to believe.![]()
I don't know about that. Ginobili's reputation as a "flopper" can irk a whole team but Bowen generally pisses off only the sole wing player of the other team.
I thought Suns fans liked to suggest that Horry hit Nash knowing that his teammates would leave the bench and get suspended. I always say that Horry stupidly cost the Spurs a game they could have won, but in doing so did a better job of winning a game for the Suns than any of the Suns players did.
I agree. I've met a lot of people who aren't Spurs fans, and I've never had one tell me "Oh man, I HATE Bruce Bowen." If Bowen hit game winning shots and ripped people's hearts out more often he'd probably rise in the rankings, but for now he's a distant second IMO.
I don't hate him, but I just don't like TP!
1. Fabricio Oberto - proving that all Argentinians aren't created equal. Watching Scola play on the Rockets just fuels this hate, and forever wondering what would have been with a Duncan / Scola frontline instead.
2. Matt Bonner - This guy's game is so 1 dimensional its not even funny. I nearly chucked the remote at the screen the other day when Bonner recieved a nice entry pass with absolutely nobody around him, 5 feet from the rim, when most players would have just turned and shot a jumpshot or took a step and layed the ball in or dunked it. Bonner instead got confused and dribbled in a semi-circle and tried an off-balance running hook shot into the lane which added another 4-5 feet to his shot distance, and of course bricked it.
Yeah i can go with that.
Oberto missing a 6 inch shot. Tapping the rebound out to the other team.
Finleys lame D and jacking up treys with 22 left on the shot clock in a game we lead.
I'm not fond of Matt Bonner either. Hate would be too strong of an emotion right now - but check back at midseason.
you hate fabi? why? he's still good player, a teamgame and smart player..we'll see how play your scola-2013...scola's five years younger than fabi. you never saw oberto playing 6 years ago? in 2002 fabi>scola oberto was by far the best
mabye shaq wasn't wrong... the spurs hate their own players ...they love hack-a-...love floppers... these things reminds me how i feel confused about some spurs fans...

they say that? the dark side was at work.
nah, the spurs collapsed at the end. horry simply displayed the frustration felt by every member of the team at that moment and might have just tried to stop the momentum which was clearly on the side of the suns. whether he fouled nash or not, spurs had already lost grip of that game.
"Hate" is a strong and inappropriate word.
Who do I appreciate the least? Bonner, I guess - he let me down last year when I thought he'd emerge and take Rob's spot.
how can you hate manu or tony?why not find a team where you you can like all the stars. How do you feel when your team wins the big one, but the players you hate are celebrating it to?
I voted for Bonner...but I don't hate the guy. I just want the roster spot and the money he is consuming.
When his skills eroded to the point of his only contributions being
playing head games and committing stupid fouls.
I can only think of the one stupid foul he committed, but thank you for agreeing that it was just a stupid foul.
Ok. YOU tell ME what Robert Horry's contributions on the court were the last couple seasons. Your screen name is fitting BTW....it explains alot with your view to the hip check reference.
This poll is invalid without Bruce Bowen as a choice.
