What would it take to get Gilbert Arenas, Caron Butler and Antawn Jamison?![]()
With the way the Bobtails are losing money and cutting salary, I wouldn't be surprised if they put Wallace on the market this season. I'd like to have him now, but I would've rather had him when his price tag wasn't about 10 mil per.

GW gets it.
Spurs need help or a little retooling. Most of you asswads still haven't figured that out.
Currently, the Spurs are in last place.. will they win a game before manu gets back?
Redd ani't on the block. Harrington and Curry are. Some combination of Thomas, Bonner and you know who might work.
Better Redd than dead, huh Spurms fans
Hahah, that was good.
But seriously, I do think the Spurs will have a major trade go down before the deadline.
I do not think so (depending on your definition of major). It has already been stated that this core is getting this year to try and win another le together.
The Spurs lost a game.
I don't think TP or Duncan will be leaving the group.
Manu's rehab will determine whether they'll wait for him.
Yah, I know it seems unlikely, but for some crazy reason I keep seeing AI, Melo or JR Smith in a Spurs jersey anytime I think of trade.

What would it take? Probably Pop smoking some crack with Skiles.
trade mangoo for him. he is hurt and looks like his body can't take a full season plus he is a WILD beast that can lose u games. i wish the spews had some nuts.
Screw Michael Redd. Morris Almond is available.
The only one out of that group I would want is Melo (if we are talking a trade for Manu) and I do not see why the Nuggets would do that. But I would rather keep the core together for at least this year.
Sequ and GW have given this place a full dose of BAMA after one game. I sure hope Manu is healthy soon.
I see your point, Melo would indeed be hard to get as he's their best piece and extremely talented. It's quite unlikely too, but for arguments sake.
But they also know they aren't going anywhere with 'Melo. A veteran good guy like Manu would be a nice start to rebuilding (not so much for the wins but for instilling the right at ude). The Nugz would be rebuilding their image as well as their team.
I suspect the Nugz will go into full rebuilding mode the latter half of this year.
Hope Nuggets-Fan doesn't see this.
Ha. I would not be that upset in reality if the Spurs could pull Melo for Manu. That would be about the best the Spurs could hope for with regards to value now and in the future. Obviously short term I would rather have Manu, but Melo would not kill us and he would be a better building piece in the future. Especially if he could be mentored and held accountable by Pop and Tim. He could grow here.
Any good big men in the draft this year?![]()
tyler hansbrough anyone?
I'm not really feeling the draft this year outside of Ricky Rubio.
Spurstalk response: Well, if we traded Kurt Thomas, Bowen, and Finley the salaries might work out.
Next off-season...the FO sucks, they didn't make an effort to get Michael Redd without giving up any of the big 3. What is wrong with them.
Reality: Michael Redd wouldn't really be that great of a fit for us anyways and would never come to San Antonio. There isn't enough money or shots for him on the Spurs.
