Bush's first 4 years were good. Fair and balanced historians will reflect that.
His last 4 years were pathetic and horrible.

The American and global economies are too huge to be changed by a single president's actions while in office. In fact, it took 13 years for Clinton's 1995 Community Reinvestment Act to cripple the economy. (For those who don't know, that's the law which forced banks to lend money for homes to people who couldn't afford it.)
More en lement programs while our country is nearly bankrupt will not solve the economic woes of this country and neither will raising taxes on anyone. The answer is to cut the budget, become fiscally responsible, uphold the usary laws on credit card companies, let fiscally irresponsible companies fail because new ones will rise up that are leaner and more innovative than the ones that came before them. Let the free market correct itself. Let the fat cat banks fail rather than rolling up our natiional debt further. Where's your $700 billion dollars at now?
