You remember when Laker fans were dieing to pick up Mike James?![]()
We shall see.
Armstrong's improved this year, for sure but he's nowhere close to being an NBA player right now. I think Armstrong should be in the D-League, he makes Chris Mihm look like an All Star.

a lot of Hornets fans hated Jannero Pargo last season which annoyed me. you either loved him or you hated him, but I think he was a wonderful spark coming off of the bench. He had some flaws of course, but he knew how to control the floor (unlike James). also, whenever he was "on" he would light up 15-20 points within a few minutes. I wish we could have kept him.
pargo was a spark plug when he was with the lakers too. def fan favorite. him and mark madsen lol.
lakers better show up in the 1st quarter because spotting teams early on is gonna bite us in the ass against a team like the hornets
I hear ya playa ... but again we had the same backup big men last year. our backup big man situation isn't why we lost in the playoffs ... our young players lack of playoff experience and Byron Scott flat out getting out coached is why we lost.
I personally thought the Hornets would win the series last year. I agree that Byron Scott takes alot of the blame for that loss.
Tonight should be a great game and measuring stick for both teams.
as good as our second unit is, if you think we can continue to spot teams 1 quarter and catch up every game you are dillusional.
i dont think its going to be a continuing trend but to be consistently trailing by 10 after 1 quarter is not beneficial to the team in no way shape or form
Thank god this game is on KCAL too. No need to look for a stream on my ps3 that never work.
thats exactly my point. you cant expect to spot teams 10 points or more and consider that being a good position to win the game. theres no doubting the depth of the lakers but spotting 10 point leads to the opposition EVERY game, which i believe we have trailed by double digits every game except the blazers, its gonna bite us in the ass.
I thought we fell behind the Nuggets at 8 max? I don't remember 10. I think it was 7.
once again, bravo on your signature.![]()
indeed Jaime is a full grown beast .... well sons I'm heading down to Nawlins for the game now. I'll be getting tore up on that Miller Lite like its Saturday night. god bless
somehow that sounds ghey =D
I expect the Hornets to take this as their most serious game. Meaning, leave their bench on the bench and have Chris Paul playing 44 - 46 minutes. Also, dont forget the two games you won last year one we didnt have Gasol or Bynum due to injury, and the first one we hadnt entirely gelled. Also, last time we played you guys with Bynum it was a 20+ point blowout. But Hornets are better now, and theyll play with even more intensity. I think Lakers lose. But if we win I see us running away with #1 in the west. I mean, who else will stop us?
took you a while to figure that out...the rockets couldn't stand him last season
Well, what's going to happen tonight? Both teams will be awaiting this eagerly. The loser won't be in bad shape. It's true it's a back-to-back for Los Angeles, but we had a good break before, The team has gotten the rust out and is ready to go. I don't think the Lakers want to fall behind big and early again.
I think Lakers will win. We have depth, the Hornets don't. All we have to make sure is one of their scrubs doesn't get a career night going and we'll be fine.
The Hornets will win this game. The Lakers have no answer for CP3. Especially in New Orleans.
if tlong is for hornets, the lakers are def gonna win
Lakers already scared the living daylights out of the Hornets
