    *ATTENTION*

    This thread has nothing to do with the Spurs, or any other team.

    The main point of this thread is that the Lakers couldn't beat the Celtics, and got beat down by Detroit. They can't beat compe ive teams.

    Lakers didn't "choke" in 2004, the Mavs didn't "choke" in 2006, and the Lakers didn't "choke" in 2008. The Lakers and Mavs were the underdogs in their respective series'. No one expected them to win the championship and they didn't. Nothing surprising about that. By saying they choked, it's like taking away from what Detroit, Miami, and Boston accomplished. Detroit, Miami, and Boston were the favorites to win the championship, and that's what they did. No need to call any teams chokers....these three teams just went out there and did what they were supposed to do.

    Kind of like how the Spurs were expected to lose in 2004 and 2008
