Yeah if Obama hadn't played the race card, racists might not have even KNOWN he was black... Serves him right.
Maybe because.......you didnt want another republican in the House?
If you are bent on believing all white people are racist, no proof (no matter how thorough) will discourage you.
ducks - I'm new here, but you are disturbingly narrow-minded and callous
ducks doesn't have a mind, narrow or otherwise. All his thoughts come straight out of his ass.
maybe they woulda only seen the white half.
Get it done. America would be much more peaceful.
why did the dem go register new black voters so he would get elected
they knew the new black voters would vote for obama because he was black
the young new black voters got obama to be the president
and people who just wanted change even if it would be bad
I don't know. I'm obviously some kind of masochist, because some of these threads get me so pissed off I have to back away from my computer.
..... and I'm not a dude. Not that it matters.
Nah Im not bent on it, its just a little nagging thing I have in the back of my mind thats all. I mean like I've said before, I've hung out with white people that I didnt think they had a racist bone in their body until I busted in on them.
You know, its kind of like a girl whos been cheated on by 10 guys and shes gonna eventually think that all guys are dogs.
but outside of that, I'm probably a racist? you.
All I can say is if your not, COOL! Many smiley faces!![]()
All that good .
But if you are, wouldnt be suprised.
you! Go back to your native land!![]()
Way to be an ignorant dumbass.
Anyone who cares about this country should be hoping and praying Obama is not assassinated. That even would be one of the darkest in American history, and likely set off race wars in several parts of the U.S., whether or not the assassination was racially motivated or not
This doesn't happen very frequently, but I gotta side with Aggie on this one...
Besides the "ignorant dumbass" comment, I agree with Aggie on that too.
He said nothing about it being right...
Considering how much he won by, I'm amazed that the transgressions of a few are leading people to make mass generalizations.
And again I'm intrigued by the fact that half black = black.
Ya it must really suck to be the first bi-racial president....
People of color are black. Thats all there is to it. I'm half black and every single white guy says I'm a black guy.
He said he was intrigued by the notion. You are simply saying it is true, therefore it is true, rather than explaining why it is true.
I think it is crazy. You go to Europe - Swedish people and Italians look different, speak a different language, have vastly different cultures, etc... Yet in America it is just assumed that white people=white.
But when it comes to notions of race and mixed-race, Europeans are generally flabbergasted by our focue on the notion of labelling someone based on skin color.
The problem is compartmentalization - people are individuals, and it seems that all sides continually re-inforce the notion of their allegiance to a racial, religious, or ethnic group in a way that forces them apart from their shared humanity with others.
The fact that lots of people are wrong about something does not turn it into a fact. In the 1490s, most Europeans thought Cuba and the Dominican Republic were islands off of a landmass that was connected to Asia.
What part of "he played the race card first" didn't you understand?
You are looking at Europe through some very rose-colored glasses and is probably based on Europe back when individual countries like Sweden were completely genized. (nothing impressive about a society saying they don't have racial problems when they only have one race) There are major racial and ethnic tensions throughout Europe, frequent riots, and people of color suffer widespread discrimination and harassment. Look it up. (And yes, this has even become a problem in Sweden.)
Do you often listen to what every white man tells you?
The tediousness of racial identification, that is non existent in realistic aspects. What kills me is that we go through great lengths to specify most things in this world, put an exact tag on it, but when it comes to man, well a broad brush is sufficient. Get real, seriously.
The only time Obama is "Black" is when the lights go out, we're all black when the lights go out. Aside from that he is bi-racial or mulatto. I find it hilarious that in general bi-racial people get a lot of flack from the black community yet they are quick to claim Obama as one of their own. So in effect he is the first bi-racial or mulatto elected president. Here is a video for your enjoyment.
white people!
